  • At the time I thought maybe playing possum had something to do with the crowd reaction to every strike Ankalaev threw, even if it was blocked 100% or not at all meaningful. I'd like to see it again just to gauge that, but probably ufc won't publish it out of embarrassment

  • Walker played into it pretend to be hurt, then be pretended too long and dumb when the doctor spoke to him.... when he realised he convinced the dr it was too late to take it back. I think he regretted playing Dumb/out of it.

Not to be outdone in the realm of absurdity, Ankalaev, perhaps in a desperate attempt to salvage the fight, summoned the mythical "Goat of Mendes." The goat's presence added an additional layer of absurdity, as if the octagon had become a stage for a surreal farce rather than a serious athletic competition.
