i wish they had also had a sign language interpreter on top of the auto captioning😅 im only HOH due to a processing disorder, and i think maybe autocaption was the best option they thought of in terms of subtitling but i do wish they could've broadened the scope a little
@@immabananana I guess since their audience is international and sign language differs significantly even between English-speaking countries, and even then a lot of deaf and HOH people aren't fluent in it, it may not have been the best choice, but someone to do professional captions rather than autogenerated might've been better.

It's just a one-off goof of a funny Yahoo Question ask. That was the original goof. Now the goof is Griffin improvising "Final Yahoo"s because Yahoo shut down.

I've been listening since the old episodes they tell people to skip now, and only because of reading this did I remember that they used to mention the part about revisiting next week. I feel like for the last 5 years it is usually Justin asking for (or Griffin asking to do) the final yahoo. I like these improv ones because you know griffin could write something weird ahead of time, but the flailing failure is the point! It's always a surprise if he lands it!

@@mozarteanchaos please don't stupidly defend them as if they can do no wrong. they're human beings, they make mistakes. this auto captioning is significantly worse than even youtube's. i love the mcelroys but they aren't perfect gods, they're just great people. and as people, they have flaws and make mistakes. you shouldn't take every bit of criticism of them personally, that's just very unhealthy. i love these boys and i acknowledge they make mistakes, and i love them because they do care and make an active attempt to get better. they don't want putting them on a pedestal acting like the can do no wrong, that's for damn sure. so if someone complains about accessibility, that is an extremely important issue that needs to be addressed and not dismissed. disabled people are constantly dismissed as it is. stop being a part of that problem. and even though the mcelroys are extremely important to all of us, stop having an unhealthy hero worship mindset towards them. i can't even imagine how uncomfortable that makes them that they have so many "fans" like that.

It was for a paid live (but virtual) show, and it was very worth the money. They're doing a TAZ Hootenanny paid live & virtual (same setup as this) this Friday and the recording will be available for 2 weeks as a VOD on the hosted website I think
