  • I have attempted to explain the McElroy brand of specific vocal humor so many times, to so many people. One of the only examples I can point to is Griffin's "five, fourTHREEtwo one!" at 5:47. Is it funny because he subverts the normal way to count down? Is it the inflection in his voice? Yes. And probably more than that but don't ask me to put it into words. I genuinely don't understand why it's so damn hysterical, but it is.
