Scuba dive has changed my perspective towards animals deeply. Went from a voracious meat eater to vegetarian, went from believing that animals where just responding to instincts, to actually see that there was something beyond that. I’ve seen octopi meeting my gaze, looking straight into my eyes and reach with their tentacles out of pure curiosity. Sometimes even getting playful. I’ve seen a sea turtle asking for help to get fishing gear removed from a fin. I’ve seen moray eels getting familiar with me after visiting their hiding spot many times in a row… If we could manage to step out from our own bubble just a bit and see and listen to all those around us… We would be so much different.
That's so beautiful 🥺 how open minded of you
@@meganglynn6568 🥹 I don’t know if I’d call it open minded though… Its not like I did anything on purpose… I just observed the world around me in awe and at some point something “clicked”. I am very grateful for it

@@gloriousbee9366 huh, I guess after a while it started to sink in… I don’t know how it happened but one day it just hit me. I guess we treat animals the way we do because we mostly see them as products, not as complex organisms, and after being in contact with them for such a long time, that perception simply changed radically.
Octopus in particular are exceptionally intelligent. Fine motor skills require high brain power, it’s why humans are so smart. Need a lot of brain power to work these hands so deftly. So imagine being able to move and do things with 8 arms. Octopus are one big wet hand. Pretty cool!

There's an old legend that once in a while, a person's soul enters an animal's body, or maybe it's a fish with a soul that she knew from a previous life. They all feel and have a personality we just overcomplicate things and these days people think they need to talk and talk all the time to express how they feel but they don't... it only takes 1 facial expression or gesture to understand what someone means you just have to get used to it for each person, these days people take it so out of context as if it doesn't mean something innocent that it isn't simply what it is so people have lost touch with such simple communication cos they know it's actually very easy to form bonds without saying anything at all. Animals just continue to remind us of that.
The woman is a.kind soul, any animal even fish would know and feel it.
As a person who has had plenty of fish, they truly do have a connective personality. One of my dad's fish used to always run towards the end of the tank where the door was when anyone entered, and he would show his teeth at the person who entered. It was a Red Devil fish and he was mean!! LOL LOL LOL My dad LOVED that fish!! Can't remember how it started, but if I or my wife put the tip of our finger in the tank (10 gallon), he would come over and brush against it like a cat, even wagging his tail in place showing excitement. He wouldn't do it for anyone else. It did not matter if it was pre feeding, after, during, or in between. Fish (fly-replete, in depth of June, Dawdling away their wat'ry noon) Ponder deep wisdom, dark or clear, Each secret fishy hope or fear. Fish say, they have their Stream and Pond; But is there anything Beyond? This life cannot be All, they swear, For how unpleasant, if it were! One may not doubt that, somehow, Good Shall come of Water and of Mud; And, sure, the reverent eye must see A Purpose in Liquidity. We darkly know, by Faith we cry, The future is not Wholly Dry. Mud unto mud!--Death eddies near-- Not here the appointed End, not here! But somewhere, beyond Space and Time, Is wetter water, slimier slime! And there (they trust) there swimmeth One Who swam ere rivers were begun, Immense, of fishy form and mind, Squamous, omnipotent, and kind; And under that Almighty Fin, The littlest fish may enter in. Oh! never fly conceals a hook, Fish say, in the Eternal Brook, But more than mundane weeds are there, And mud, celestially fair; Fat caterpillars drift around, And Paradisal grubs are found; Unfading moths, immortal flies, And the worm that never dies. And in that Heaven of all their wish, There shall be no more land, say fish.

@Ben Lurie Meanie! Sunny's electric eel buddy might taze YOU instead. Karma...
@Ben Lurie Is this working? Are you feeling better about yourself yet? F**king loser 🤡 loool
I was snorkeling in the East China Sea once and these little fish got in my face and were “talking” to me, little friendly chirps. I quit eating fish after that.
❤👏👍
Yes I quit meat after meeting cows, same here
Mind you, it might have been shouting gtfo lol
It's amazing when a wild animal chooses you to have a relationship with or even just a one time interaction with a human to see what we're about.
Aww I love fishes. They're so unique and special.
A friend of ours had a goldfish in a little tank, he really interacted with too. Whenever he got visitors, the fish started to plash on the water with its tail and when our friend didn't react to that, he jumped out of the tank on the carpet, knowing his human friend would get up to save him and thus getting the desired attention.
Amazing ! we underestimate the capability and sensitivities of all creatures great and small! 💗💜💙🙏🥰👌🙏🙏🙏🙏
Amazing story of the goldfish! Thank u for sharing! 🥰💗💜💙🙏
I guess you could say he was… dying for attention
Or the water parameters were so bad because of the unsuitable tank that the ammonia started burning the fish resulting in this common behavior for fish who desperately want to get out of a poisonous environment 🐟
We had a goldfish like yours and we loved her as if she were a puppy.
Also, the way he swam so fast over to you had the be the most adorable human to wild animal interaction I've ever witnessed! 💗
yea, look my sea kitty is coming .!! :))
I KNOOOOW OMG!!! I was wondering if anyone had felt the same way I did about that! Thank u, im not alone! lol! Cutest frickin thing I ever did see!
@@rodicapopescu2038 Omg, ur comment is so underrated. U are just hilarious. Absolutely perfect interpretation, so on point! lol
He truly has a bond with you 💕❤️
That’s a very beautiful connection. It’s not a past life thing, is in harmony with The Creation.
This is so unique in that she doesnt feed him, or do anything to suggest a symbiotic or transactional relationship..but he makes an effort to see her anyway.🥰
Dorys cousin telling diver, “If you get lost, just follow the shells” lol
And teaches a valuable lesson through a little ditty, no matter what troubles or travails you may face, "just keep swimming"
It made me wanna rewatch finding dory
What about: "Swim through all the rings!"
I can not get enough of sonny. I think maybe he was human in a past life. He's such a sweety 😄
Absolutely delightful. I know octopus are very intelligent, but Sonny!
