  • I have to learn how to stutter with a French accent. I.... perhaps I should not have auditioned. Too late to turn back now, I suppose! Pray for me, fellow desperate theatre casts!

  • I am an American, and speak a little French, but all I really want to accomplish is to be understood, while keeping steadfast to my American identity. quand je parle francais, je parle avec un accent americain. Pourquoi, parce que je le veux. Je suis americain and so.. je suis qui je suis. If I pronounce the French R like an American R... the French will still understand me. If my thank you comes out like "Mercy Beaucoup," it ain't like they will think what the heck is this guy trying to say.... I get sorta bent outa shape when they say "Ya gotta lose the American accent... oh no I don't.

    • Though if you say "merci beau cul", it's more disturbing. Anyway, I like the american accent.
