  • I hope the Earthroamer team paid careful attention to the things that went wrong (e.g., the wine cooler opening, the 'garage' door closing on you, the outdoor shower falling apart, the entire kick plate moving when you pushed the vacuum attachment in, etc.). For a million dollars, these things shouldn't be happening and they need to iron out those kinks. Looks like a beautiful creation otherwise, but if you're charging perfection prices, it better be a perfection delivery.

  • I've been watching your videos for about 2 years now and I still get excited every time I see a new post. Thank you for inspiring me and making me laugh on a weekly basis. It's been a dream of both me and my Dad's to summit a mountain together. I know the hike to base-camp isn't summiting, but it still would be an absolute dream come true. My Dad is retiring soon, and he has worked so incredibly hard his whole career so he's never had the opprotunity to go on an adventure he's always dreamed about. Every night, my dad is watching youtube videos of people going on crazy adventures (including you guys), and I can tell he is making a mental list of everything he hopes to do one day. Me and my dad both share the travel bug trait and the need for adventure, so we always talk about one day hiking a summit together. I am a subscriber of your newsletter, and I have done the additional entries, but I thought I would try my luck in sending you guys a message as well. This trip would be life changing for me, but mostly my Dad. It's alway been my dream to go on adventure like on to base-camp, but its more of a dream to surprise my dad with a trip like this.

  • Moab is a great place to four wheel drive. There are trails, rated 1-5 with 5 being the most technical, for motor bikes, bikes, rock climber vehicles and the best vehicle for climbing rocks in Moab and that is a Jeep Rubicon. Arches National park is a couple of miles away. They have off road trails. My wife went there too and spent all day doing the trails in the park and never say another soul.

  • For someone who has been to so many natioonaal parks and areas in the US- that is the most stunning camp spot. He did not exagerate. My first thought was the same- lookeed like the rim at the Grand Canyon. Surreal. Great video- They have liiterally considered everything on the Earthroamer. Considering prices of luxury foreign sports cars- $1.1 million is not that outrageous if passionate about the outdoors and adventure. Looks like this is the vehicle.

  • Love y'all. Most of all, I love the travel + interaction with diverse local culture we don't easily get to see normal interaction with.... Love to see the tough traveling - like most of us experience on airlines. Disappointment, rushing, rescheduling - the things we all worry about traveling. Climbing mountains, riding bikes across the midwest and the CO trail, swimming in the artic.... love that stuff! The VIP, crazy opportunity, flights we'll never get to take in luxury setups we'll never be able to do.... not so much.We like a lil bit of suffering - challenge - hard stuff. love that stuff! Bathroom tours on million dollar AWDs... nah. We make it through ALL of some, and not of others. Cheers, and congrats on carving out what you have for yourselves! This just my opinion!

    • I agree on your sentiments. I struggle with all the high end/luxury stuff not many people can afford or experiences like this that are gifted for free because they are famous so they can review something we can't afford. I love the challenges they do, and normal travel stuff. I did watch this one just because I miss their van life videos. I am excited for their monkey run video in Peru and they family they have been staying with the past few days.

  • It was so funny to me that they were scared of the "drop off" on the side of the road. My mom has family in British Columbia, Canada, and we drove through the Rockies almost every summer when I was a kid. The drop offs in the mountains are so much steeper than what they were worried about; often a straight drop down the side of a mountain. I had to laugh. I was definitely not impressed with the the number of doors that opened up and things fell out. That seemed cheap to me. Our camper, driving over dirt roads in a buffalo park, and nothing in our cheap over the half-ton truck ever opened up.
