    • @Richie T. That was an adult male whale, not a calf. Male gray whales are smaller than female gray whales. Fucking look that up. Gray whale calves are no where bigger than a 30 feet Transient Male orca. These Orca pods use a powerful shockwave attack to stun their prey to death, including these whales they are moving around, and eating. Inuits harpooned endangered baby Bowhead whales in the back, and don't even stun the whale(they give the endangered baby whale they are hunting, a very slow painful death), now where do I see anyone hating Inuits for torturing their hunt to death(which the government of alaska, and canada is allowing)?

    • @@besim109AOG Harpooning a whale is brutal, but not for these Transient orcas stunning their prey to death. Whalers don't stun the whale to death, instead, they use a harpoon to give the whales so much great tremendous pain, and a very slow death. The only thing that would probably be close are monkeys who kill other clans, sometimes for no obvious reason, and pride male lions who WILL kill other nomadic males that come into their territory no questions asked. And some times the nomads kill the pride males. But that is a biological imperative so that the strongest genes are passed along and to prevent inbreeding. This was done for food. Full stop. That's not to say that there isn't evidence that some Orca pods do enjoy the hunt and kill, but that isn't surprising. Orca are The smartest life form on the planet behind humans and I have ZERO doubt they are self aware and know what's going down. But at the same time they are THE apex predator of the Ocean. Nothing else comes close. Orca will and HAVE killed full grown great whites in literally minutes and turned the terror of humans in the water into literal chum in less than an hour.

What is brutal to the calf is survival for the orca and a host of other animals, too. Whales are a great source of energy. • @@SuperDelo71 plz read entire standard resonse i use, : Yes, I am a whaler, i eat dolphins, i try kill them humanely and do it sustainably and not take more than needed. not commercial. hate me all u want, never gonna change, for me whale/dolphin meat is normal, like u eat pigs, cow etc and people in india think eatiing that is weird and an outrage. but lets do facts here: Killer whale is correct english term, since "orca" is totally in correct since its a binomial nomencleture, and is the species. u can NOT do that without putting in genera/genus) Orcinius. genus always capital first letter, species NEVER! many animals can share same species name, like "orca" but NEVER share same genus and species at same time, so Orcinus orca or O. orca is taxonomically correct. since there could be a H. orca, the O. orca is VERY important. secondly, stop correcting from "its not a whale but a dolphin" it sounds retarded because its so much deeper. in ceataceans (whales) there are families and subfamilies. dolphins belong to Delphinanea, family. thats a family in ceataceans(whales in common speak) so yes they are whales! Blue whales and Bowhead are not only not in same genus they not even in same family. as big a difference between them as between O. orca and the blue whales(cant remember their binomial nomencleture, i am spider person, not marine person(spiders belong in entomology) So point, they are whales! another point. all domesticated animals started as wild caught and wild animals. keeping big whales like killer whales in captivity should only be done if u have a bio setup, with natural prey(live prey) and not chlorinated water but bio flora and a HUGE tank and a good pod. then its okay :) But NO ONE could ever afford that! so it cant be done setting them free? 1. most will die, they cant even hunt! 2. most are hybrids. their are subspecies in the O. orca, and seaworld etc have mixed the subspecies and we do NOT want to pollute if one survives and crossbreeds! period! keep animal bloodlines clean! enough animals are destroyed, just look at snake hobby! attacks in wild DO OCCUR! and they are violent! search "hans+surfer+california+72+killer whale+bite" and u can see many sites with several attacks. NON fatal YET but bloody and serious! so stop the myth about no attacks in the wild. and just because there is no recorded fatality does not mean it has not happened. MANY people die each year from snake bites but officially maybe 100-200 world wide die because no official report or cause of death is done. same with shark attacks. so there might be more attacks even fatal ones which has not been recorded and hence not in official statistics.

  • The first time I watched this I thought the gray calf had first been drowned before the Orca viciously ripped out its tongue (this is the only part they eat), however, the second time I watched it back the gray calf is still breathing until they finally pull it under water, long after they've all taken turns getting into its mouth and ripping its tongue out. Heartbreaking and equally astonishing to see the ocean world.

    • Moe Moe this is an outlaw pod. Those Gray Whales are endangered species offered protection under the Endangered Species Act. This video will incriminate the entire pod. Seaworld will probably detain some of the members for life in Seaworld. As for the others, they will be forced to undergo education and indoctrination until they become pescatarians. Otherwise the military might use sonar to confuse and torture them until they beach themselves. It’s a cruel world but the vegan police are watching.

  • How much of the grey whale do the Orcas actually eat?

    @johnprentice9895@johnprentice9895 Жыл бұрын
    • @John Prentice The Hungry Giant Transients are the ones that dine on Whales. There favorite part of the whale is the tongue, which is what they are trying to get when spinning that male gray whale around. They stun the whale before killing them. If a whale would choose what way they would die, they pretty much would prefer being stunned by an Orca rather than being stabbed by a Harpoon, since they way how the Orca kills the whale, is much more painless, than them being stabbed in the back by a harpoon(having a painful death). Eskimos harpoon whales in the back, and killing the whale slowly, and don't see anybody in this comment section saying they hate Eskimos, or calling for genocide against Eskimos(it wouldn't be all right if they say this about Eskimos, though, I wouldn't agree with it).

    • Saddest thing ever seen by you? Not the mass killings of other people by other people all over the world, not mass starvation, or millions of people "living" in refugee camps all over the world, many of whom will spend the rest of their probably short lives in those camps. An Orca, whose name literally translates into "whale killer" not "killer whale", killing a whale to eat is the saddest thing? Get some perspective guy.
