Something people tend to miss This man is doing this in late 90s Serie A, one of the best leagues in history World class talent and defending, it’s kind of what the premier league is today, except that all defenses are extremely tough with big names (Cannavaro, Maldini, Thuram, Desailly, could go on)

The premier is dynamic and entertaining but the defending is not even close to what the defending on Serie A was in the 90s. Today flopping is out of control and you can’t even look at the players. Also a side note, the Spanish teams on aggregate have won most of the champions league titles

You have guys like Haaland being touted as superstars because hes elite at using his physical prowess to score goals yet is below average in dribbling and playmaking. Mbappe has speed but what will happen if he loses it through injury which may happen at any time. Pretty much we have an era of players at the levels of Thierry Henry but not at the R9, Zidane, Messi levels

Yes, this is my "Ronaldo"...there are Cristiano Ronaldo or Ronaldinho, both amazing and 2 of the greats, but only "Ronaldo", is this one...and is the most exciting player I saw live on tv, the Barcelona period was such a joy...I was glued to the tv untill the end or untill Ronaldo was replaced. Many times he played till the end, and did some of these things at 85 minute with his team winning...he was truly outstanding

Playing as a CM at the time I admired technical, intelligent players, that created and assisted.... Leaders and visionaries, elegant and with the soft touch of class!!!( Kulkov, Redondo, Rui Costa, Matthaus, Ginola, Bergkamp, Gullit, Dino Baggio, Lentini, Boban, Hagi, Savicevic, Laudrup (genius creator) flair and dribbling was for superstars Romário, Van Basten, Maradona (could do it all with a ball) Futre, Robby Baggio, Asprilla, Stoichkov, Figo, Djalminha!!!!! But everyone wanted to play like Ronaldo, my friends, teammates, schoolmates even the Tomboy girls who loved sports....the speed, the stopovers, the change of direction, the controlled bursts of speed....
