YEA! Let's hear it for the good ole HB's!! (Honey Badgers!) I'm always happy to hear about weird little success stories when it comes to animals...especially cats, big ones, medium size ones and wee biddy ones too! I saw a documentary once about a beautiful Snow Leopard female in the wild, that was filmed throughout her giving birth and raising her cubs. I HATED the ending...she was filmed trying to take down either a mountain goat or some type of horned cow, but succeeded in just getting herself gored and finally laying down under a rocky outcrop to die...I was SO mad at those people filming this till I wish I could have done right into the TV tube and beat the hell out of those men. They COULD have done something to help her instead of just watching the destruction of that beautiful and ENDANGERED animal by simply taking pot shots with the rifle they had and scaring away the marauding horned animal. Yeah yeah yeah...I know all about the "don't interfere with Nature" crap they try to spin...but this was AN BEAUTIFUL, ENDANGERED animal that needs all the help we humans can give to them! The one bright spot in the story was that her 3 cubs did survive and hopefully went on to have long lives and reproduce for the sake of the world and our love of the beauty that prompts us to try and right so very many wrongs....

I've seen a video of 🐝 honey-badgers taking on every big cat 🐯 and not backing down. Hyenas are on this list too. I see them giving any animal that's not an elephant, rhino, or hippo ( for obvious reasons) a run for its money. Including a 450 lb male lion that sought out weaker prey. With it's razor sharp claws and 😬 plus an outer skin that is near impenetrable to most animals teeth and claws. Oh, and they're fearless in battle, too. @jaythomas32242 жыл бұрын
But how would they know, dont they kill them before taking the tusks.
@liamwright25102 жыл бұрын
@Liam Wright I guess the idea is that the elephants that don’t have tusks/smaller tusks survive. Those elephants have kids that carry the same gene, so then they also survive from poaching. And eventually the majority of the elephant population has no tusks because those are the only type of elephant that survive and reproduce. It’s not necessarily that they make the decision not to have tusks.

If you check any facts you learn fast that this video is utter nonsense. Honey badgers are nice, but they aren't on top in picking order, not even close. Lion can kill it with one bite and it happens every now and then. Then again honey badgers aren't good foos, so lions often ignore them. @koustav chatterjee not very true, honey badger have no natural predator, because of their hard skin, unusually strong venom immune system and fearless reputation keeps them at apex. They also could survive some hard and fatal bite from other animal. They will fight to death and not much animals would want to fight to death
@youwantmyname92082 жыл бұрын
@koustav chatterjee no, it's not because it's not worth it, it's because honey badger have a fearless reputation. Honey badger doesn't retreat unlike lions. It's called intimidation. They are also small making them a complex target to lock on. If you don't even believe this, just watch some videos or documentaries about honey badger. They fear nothing. Not even an animal with 800+ psi bite force. They simply use force to get out of sticky situation. I know they could kill honey badger, that's pretty much your point but it's how these animals reacts. No matter how much wounds these honey badger gets, they just don't care and eventually they won. Honey badger are almost as big as wild hog, so it's a decent meal for lions. Like I said, because of their fearless reputation, other animals will be afraid to go against them making them an apex predator. Take a look at bulls. They are extremely strong but are a prey because of how they react when lions chase them. They simply be scared and shows their weaknesses. Yes I know it's not worth it for them to go against honey badger, that what makes the honey badger an apex predator. They could be prey to some eyes, but once they get it on, the lions will regret having those scars and wounds from badgers and can't even kill them for food

Most people use Llamas as guard animals since they have a more protective instinct and are bigger than alpacas. (Alpacas are half the size and weight and they are more skittish) Alpacas can be protective and stomp, but Llamas are overall the better defenders of the herd. A good way to tell the difference between a Llama and an Alpaca is that Llamas are bigger and have ears that curve in while Alpacas are shorter and have straight ears. (Also Alpacas typically have long hair on their heads while Llamas have short hair) There are also differences in fleece quality, and weight. They both come from the Camelidae family and while they do spit, in my experience with them, they do it out of defence or to get another Alpaca away from their food. (The spit is gross but harmless)

But how would they know, dont they kill them before taking the tusks.

Only crocodiles can kill honey Badgers.. Hippos: hold my beer.
Hippos can, but just doesn't care. They usually fought each other with their big ass jaw
@koustav chatterjee not very true, honey badger have no natural predator, because of their hard skin, unusually strong venom immune system and fearless reputation keeps them at apex. They also could survive some hard and fatal bite from other animal. They will fight to death and not much animals would want to fight to death
@Mark Grayson I’m not sure lions would hunt an animal bundy.
@@youwantmyname9208 I thought honey badgers were bout as big as a house cat
Lol I love how we got a 30 second explanation to our question, and then an 8 min video on honeybadgers
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the baby cheetahs cuteness. 🥴😊☺️😍
I've heard cheetahs are the easiest cat to domesticate and genuinely care about people... Very cool
Theyre just happy to not have to chase food
No, lions, leopards and hyenas kill 95% of cheetah cubs. They don't care about honey badgers and aren't scared at all. Lions kill honey badgers sometimes every now and then and not even eating them always. Just killing it and leaving to rotten or consumed by scavengers.
Cheetahs they will hop in a safari SUV hang out in the back seat make himself at home
What if told you... ...they meow
I've fallen in love with this channel. Thank you so much for all of this great contents. :)
Fantastic ,I couldn't stop chuckling . 👍
Steve? No, his name is "Buck"! And he likes to...ryme.

No cap

Can we just appreciate how consistent and informative WATOP's uploads are?
Hé is funny for sure....but saying the Wolverine has no chance against the honybadger is just laughable and wrong LOL
I agree You should always triple check his information
He’s not always correct about everything.

If WATOP get a sponsor for his videos some day - it just have to be e a coffee company. That would be too perfect not to happen.
Imagine he just slaps a logo on the coffee cup I wonder how long it’d take people to notice
Really and you also know it's the blue in the America flag that causes the sky to reflect the sky is as blue and it's because you have a right to carry a gun to childcare

I love it when he lets the animals name Steve lol, like your Steve, I'm Steve, he Steve she's Steve hey! We all are Steve's lol😂🤣
How did cheetahs adapt to their environment and was able to change their fur color? Its fascinating 🙃
Or how about a butterfly that has a pair of scary looking eyes on its wings
This channel is my new favourite. This channel is legendary.
Yeah! I agree.
Are you thinking of llamas? Coincidentally I just met an alpaca expert. He said they are completely defenseless and they will abandon their young to escape predators so they don't both die. Llamas are used as sentries though, they watchover and protect other herds.
2:02 Lion processing" has no idea why a adult cheetah is near a honey badger looking animal"
The comedy bits were outstanding on this one

Hmm, but this squirrel has the same perfume as steve
So watop real name is Steve that’s why he’s using it all the time and remember the person in the lion video
I just saw a video that Kevin Richardson made. He helps 5 Cheetha cub orphans to get back to the wild when grown. He explained the phenomenon of them resembling honey badgers. Cheetah cubs are very vulnerable, so it's a great defense mechanism. "Cheetha cubs look like they don't care"

It is a masterpiece of creation by the creator.
The new terminator The honeybadger!
A t-1000 Honey Badger would be truely unstoppable xD

The dialup tone kills me 😂🤣
Honestly throughout this whole video, I'm basically saying "OH MA GOD, THE CHEETAH CUBS ARE SO CUTE"
That Was real interesting Love ur vids :)
Gotta love the dial up connection! Reminds me of when i was on Aol hoping to get on!
''is this the best you can do?!'' 🤣
i love this channel immensely
school sports teams named “badger” make sooo much sense now
WATOP: Corporate needs you to find the difference between these two animals. Lions: They are the same animal.
honey badger is like luffy fighting these 40ft tall monsters .
Honey Badgers are the fiercest animals out there. Wolverines: "That's cute"
Wolverines are one of the baddest animals out there I think there is a good chance a wolverine would take and defeat a honey badger there nothing to mess with back in the old days the pioneers would absolutely freak out if a wolverine was in the neighborhood they are BADASS
@@denniskern991 Agree. Yeah Honey Badgers are no slouches but a Wolverine could definitely take one.
Chamalone:i have better camouflage Cheetah:hold my prey
Wow, I'm amazed about the amount of reactions within 8 minits. 100th reaction btw.
Nature playing Impossible Creatures. Now I actually want to see if I CAN make a Honey Cheetah. If both species are in this game... If not I wonder if I can mod it nowadays.... This was fascinating, thank you, I had wondered about the odd colours.
Honey badgers are very much the definition of what chihuahuas think they can do
"Hi, Steve. Lookin' good... love what you've done with your antlers! Where'd you find that shrubbery?"
