Actually, brown bears are known to bully Siberian tigers and take their kills from them. They have also been known to kill and eat tigers. Tigers manage to kill larger bears by ambushing them. When its a face to face confrontation such as a fight over a kill, big brown bears have the advantage

@@stevenpoynter9982 Yeah, that sounds about right. In the majority of confrontations to the death, the tiger killed the bear. But as i we both said, most of those are due to ambush. The bear kills the tiger about 1/3 of the time. Those are most likely where there was no ambush and therefore no advantage for a tiger against a bear.

Let that have been a young 4 year old lion, that sloth bear and her baby would be dead. 5 Lioness could kill a full grown grizzly bear. A Lion at the age of 7 years old would kill a grizzly by himself. But this couldn't happen for a Lion unless a grizzly was where they was at and the lions adapted after 2 years of fighting them. The Lions will figure it out how to kill that bear.

The only advantage the cats have over bears is experience in fighting. Bear don't hardly ever fight because they are the apex. If cats were in the same environment as bear, conflict would happen eventually and the bear would just become more lethal in time. The only way a cat has the slightest chance is if they bite a main vain and do it fast. If retreat isn't an option, bear wins 9/10

The bulls that typically is used in bull fighting are not particully large , weigh between 450 to 650 kg, so roughly the same as a Moose, obviosly the bull if it chargesand hits the Bear could hurt it a bit but it would not be enough to do any serious damage and the Bear would quickly get te upper hand in the fight.

They can be found hundreds of miles from land.

@@adrianquinonez6667 the grizzly is the betting favorite according to experts it sounds like. Makes sense to me. I assume 50/50 is generous for the tiger. Sounds like something that would require about two minutes of perfection from the tiger. The bear would be real tough to finish off and has insane weaponry and power. A tiger would have the talent and ability, but we'll probably never see it. In every case they just wouldn't bother, they'd feel it out and then back off and go separate ways. Just not worth the trouble for anyone involved. I'd put it at 70/30 grizzly 60/40 Polar 30/70 Tiger over black bear and sun bear. You know as an average, with sizes, species, ages and fighting experience and health being all important variables.

Also, Siberian tigers do not weigh 800 lbs The larger ones get up to 700 lbs, , not 800. And that is the largest cat on earth. Yes, they have been known to kill large bears. Bears have also been known to kill Siberian tigers. Depends on the circumstances. Tigers are not physically stronger than bears, they are just skilled ambush killers

Just a blow to the head. Can a tiger do that? And evenifit was stronger "pound for pound" , that is not the same as stronger overall. The average spider can lift 8 times its own weight, far more than the average person. But that doesnt make a little spider actually stronger than you, just proportionally. No cat is stronger than a 1200 lb brown bear or polar bear. These are animals that can flip a car over with one paw.

They strangle their prey with a bite to the throat or back of the neck. Never heard of any such pit fight, but did hear of a tiger killing a polar bear in a zoo in a surprise attack.
