  • People are usually the cause of an animal attacking. An animal, especially a wild animal acts on it's natural instinct. You can not tame a natural instinct out of an animal that is born to live in the wild. Even dogs and cats when mistreated will start acting on their instinct to protect themselves. The biggest mistake I have seen People make is with horses. People think of horses as big dogs. It is not a horse is a prey animal, in the wild they are preyed upon by pumas who jump on them from trees, or attack their rear and belly. Wolf packs will take on a horse that is weak and alone by surrounding it and attack the same way. Because of this horses are afraid of everything. Not because it thinks it's going to get hurt but instinct tells it, it's going to die and no matter how good of a trainer you are you can not train that survival system out of a horse. When people say a horse is bad or ill tempered they don't look at their own behavior around the horse, but only at the horses reaction which is in most cases fear based. Horses are extremely sensitive they can feel a fly land on them. They're skin is not thick hide it's more sensitive to pain than a human. They are also intelligent and remember very well what happens to them otherwise they would not be able to follow leg cues and do the intricate dance of Dressage however it takes years of patience and training. Most Dressage horses are over 10 years old. But even these horses will react and go in flight mode when they see something that they think is a threat. Riding and being around horses is dangerous I have been around horses since I was 4 and am now 56 and in all this time I have learned that to be around horses you can never let your guard down, never think my horse wouldn't hurt me or even worse kill me. Because the moment you become complacent is the moment you think would never happen. Everyone who has spend time riding and being around horses has at some point been bucked off or hurt by the horse in some way. People who say they haven't are either just starting to ride or lying. 100 people a year are killed in horse riding accidents. The amount of people who get injured is even higher. A horse is a 1500 lbs animal that allows you to sit on it's back. One of the places it also gets attacked from in the wild.

  • Any person who decides to keep a wild animal captive, or put themselves in their environment, can't blame the animal if they attack. It's their natural instinct. In situations like the story where the circus elephant went on a 25 min. rampage, the animal was killed because people were threatened. Seems to me, since it was people who made the animal act that way, those people should be put to death as well.

  • Unfortunately the trainer at SeaWorld got what he was going to get. I honestly love those Orcas, and I keep seeing videos of regular civilians swimming ( some by their lonesome ) and those Orcas never ever attack the swimmer or swimmers. In fact, the Orca whale turn over on their backs and swim just under the person or people 😳 I mean look at the precision, and they make sure that they can’t or do not hurt the person that is swimming by them flipping over on their backs, so anybody keeping those Orcas ( if that Orcas attacks ) then they are bringing that attack on themselves. Well that is my opinion 🤷🏾‍♂️

    @shawnkincheloesr5192@shawnkincheloesr51922 жыл бұрын
    • There have been many, MANY times that SeaWorld orcas have killed their trainers. The one in San Diego drowned several women during regular shows simply because SeaWorld keeps them in very small containers. When you see an orca with dorsal fin drop (turned down), it's because those fins are muscles and require their fast swimming in the ocean to keep the muscle healthy. Watch the documentary called "Blackfish." It is a very unsettling view into the treatment of these animals and their many dangerous and deadly encounters because of the abuse of keeping cetaceans, these highly intelligent animals in tiny pens after they once owned the seas.

    @peristiloperis7789@peristiloperis77892 жыл бұрын
    • It could be that it perceived a threat that had already caused an issue and was simply preempting to negate it...does not have anything to do with "revenge" and even if it did, you cannot ask the animal and get a cognitive response on the matter. The "revenge" thing is us humans reading into the act and superimposing our own feelings/intellect on it

      @tibzig1@tibzig12 жыл бұрын
    • Revenge is a totally natural response. Trying to attack someone or something that has already done you some type of damage is just a survival thing.

      @LadyLubdan@LadyLubdan2 жыл бұрын
    • @@LadyLubdan "Revenge" is an emotion generally perpetuated by a desire to "get even." It can serve a dual purpose and may also serve as a survival tactic. For example, John killed the man who killed his father, because John wanted revenge and was also concerned that the killer may come after him. But in and of itself it is an act of hate and loathing and is carried out after the fact. Survival can be directed at someone who has not done anything to you in the past but can do something bad or is in the process of doing something bad to you. Only our closet genetic relatives display (shockingly) much the same tendencies as humans.

    @LaOwlett@LaOwlett2 жыл бұрын

    • @Independent Researcher Not really. It's incredibly rare for an eagle to attack humans, even children. Spreading awareness about "eagles attacking children" is about as relevant and helpful as spreading awareness about wolves attacking people (as in, there really is no danger to speak off and it actually happening would be an extreme fluke, meaning all you're doing is fearmongering and demonizing the animal). You're better off worrying about getting mauled by domestic dogs (that's an actual recurring issue in society).

  • 7:47 the woman was like these animals aren't gonna attack and was arguing with her husband so she stepped out like a dummy to be extra and got snatched. The husband and mom ran out and fought them off but the mother was killed. This happened in China I believe at a tiger park. The wife and husband survived.

  • The Great White would have been interested in the surfers board as it looks like a seal from underneath. Sharks aren't man-eaters - they spit humans out cause they aren't their actual prey. Just adding to the bad press they get/justified hunting of them.

    • That is not actually true there have been documentaries to prove other wise. Now if you are specifically talking about great whites then you are right for the the most part. The movie JAWS was based on true facts except one and that one fact was that the shark in question was bull shark. The incident happened around 1920 on the coast of New Jersey.
