"Crocs don't usually attack pet dogs..." As someone who's lived in Florida for years, crocs and gators are oportunistic hunters who will happily attack whatever they think they can get without much hassel. Pets go missing all the time in communities with lakefront property, they can, will, and have snatched up clueless pets.The "Don't usually," is simply because most people living in such areas know the dangers. Shoot a little boy was grabbed by a gator in Disney World some years back. Reptiles gotta eat too, and when they aren't respected these things happen. If you live in or visit such locations, be warry of ANY body of water, especially murky water, regardless of where it is. Also, don't feed them.
