  • What does rashford coming from a poor background have to do with him being terrible all season? Antony saw things growing up rashford could only have nightmares of, he gets no sympathy because it’s irrelevant to his football ability

Imagine rashford on the training pitch telling antony that someone from manchester united picked him up and drove him to an academy, he’d think he was bragging yet these journalists act like rashford of all players has some kind of trauma that excuses his inconsistency

    • Ya Antony was watching people getting mugged and stabbed at the age of 8. Rashford’s childhood was not bad at all. The only real struggle he had was his financial issues, which wasn’t anywhere near as bad as Antony. Rashford has a place to live evey night, food every day, transportation, and most important an academy that looked after him. Antony has none of these

Lukaku for us wasn't great , i heard him say in an interview, that as a kid, he saw his mum pour water into a bottle of milk to make it last longer, and heard similar stuff for other poor performing players, but they all still got criticised for their poor stints at the club.

    • @@colinmcdermott4246 Some of that might be true, but you've gotta ask yourself why is it happening? And then, what can we do about it? Just criticise forever, or try and figure out what's wrong and offer support, even on the terraces, like Winter is saying? The end of the story isn't your comment. The end of the story is what we do next as fans, and recognise the situation might be more complex than what we see at face value. That's what Winter was trying to say get through to Mark. Yes, Marcus has been making mistakes, but he is a human. We all make mistakes, and there might be serious issues going on in his life, but he's not talking about them. Mark had Winter on to try and help him understand that. Which seemed to go well. I don't think we'll be getting any more wheelie bin comments. It's time to give Rashford some space and let whatever episode he's going through run its course. The same thing happened with Maguire and the trouble he went through. That took two years to calm down. Interestingly, when the captaincy was taken off him, it gave him the space to recover, and then when the abusers left him alone, he improved.

Compare him to a Jude Bellingham who will have to courage to move to different challenges, and there is just no comparison. One is a world class player, and the other one just isn't. He should have moved years ago. The potential was always there for Rashford to be an absolute baller, but he's wasted his career at United. He's been part of their mediocrity, instead of cutting ties with the club that 'he loves' and selfishly furthering his own career for his own benefit/development. Which is exactly what Rooney done (he ditched Everton), what Jude done (well, he's ditched Birmingham and Dortmund, and look where he is now). It’s simple: Rashford isn’t strong enough mentally to lead Utd to success. Everyone can see it. All this dogshit about him being a human being… 325k a week. Delete your social media account and focus on football. If that’s too hard for you retire.

If this was McTomminay, who may not be good enough but gives his all, then I'd find it easier to care about him as a person but Rashford plays whether he deserves it or not and earns way more than he's worth, considering he's not consitent enough for a striker and doesn't provide the service of a winger.

Cr7 and Messi should have retired with the level of criticisms and hate they had over years. RashFord should grow up and improve or get the hell out, simple. These generation of players are just babies that needs to grow up. You won't be messing up and expect people to be happy with you. Cr7 lost a kid and he still performed the next game and still playing till now. Mentality is everything. You want the fans to shower him with love when he doesn't care about the fans. Stop with all this BS.

The only real struggle he had was his financial issues, which wasn’t anywhere near as bad as Antony. He would do much better if he concentrates on his football than he does who and what he is being commented on. Its unbelievable the amount he is earning weekly and he gets sensitive with what is going on social media, this shows he is not professional enough to be leading Manchester United.
