I’ve always thought Martin is designed to be the grandmaster dad who plays with his kids, trying his best to let them win and learn from the game.
I've always found it impossible to learn anything from Martin (or other of the beginner bots) because they almost never punish you for anything, so you only realize mistakes you've made during the game review.

My favorite opening is the vienna opening (king&queen pawns on 4 row, knights on c3 and f3 respectively, and bishops on c4 and f4 respectively.) I think it has a good defense which is my favorite opening and it still leaves castling open if I need to.
