This lady was so disillusioned and extremely gullible. She was taken in and completely hooked on Manson philosophy. I know she was young at time but as any cult is pressing their agenda and way of life which was not in any way beneficial is a sad reflection on what can happen. Van Houten that recently was released from prison said once in an interview that Dianne Lake helped Tex Watson to count the money that was taken from the LaBianca house. So it was not just a gruesome murder but a robbery too.
Youve been disillusioned if you believe the manson family acted on behalf of what they believe.
I mean, look at how many people believe in the Bible. She was a child who didn't feel right in her own home, was taking drugs, had real friendships with these people and she didn't believe in it completely.
