I wish you the best with the charity man! I was left paralyzed from the waist down due to an overdose and it took a very long time to even think normally again. Let alone insurance not covering any of the cost of the equipment I needed at the time. America truly is fucked in the healthcare department. Godspeed, help as many people as you can! :)

It's reassuring to know that even actual thrillseekers are afraid of heights. Makes me feel better about all those times I also declined to jump off things, even knowing it was perfectly safe. I think it's just the idea of not having control of myself in midair that frightens me the most, like if a chord snaps or something or if the machine or parachute chooses that moment to malfunction, that's literally it.
It’s an animal instinct paired with a rationale pf like what you said: you’re putting yourself at the mercy of something that if something goes wrong, it’s not a case of being injured, and always a case of dying.

I work with a family with 2 boys that are wheelchair bound due to terminal illness and the one I actually took to see Jackass Forever but when I showed him this video he lit up when you spoke about supporting mobility at the end. Thank you for not only being entertaining as hell but also such a genuinely good person!

Wasn't even old enough to feel such way about a complete stranger, but always felt sympathetic towards him, he just seemed like a calm guy with a good heart. One of the first times I had 'proof' that the good ones most of the times go too soon.
