Muchová is just very complete player. She moves great and her shot selection is amazing (the lobs were great in particular). Her shots are also relatively safe in the court, so she doesn't make unnecessary mistakes, but close enough to lines for her opponents to not get it. She's just amazing. Her only weakness are her injuries. She plays on top 10 level easily.

Sakkari's really bad demeanor/handshake after the match = the only bad thing otherwise a wonderful battle, SO happy for Muchova who is one of the biggest treats to watch on WTA tour by far when she's on. also a super nice girl with great fairplay.
I don't see anything wrong with the handshake sakkari is among the coolest and most polite player on court plus she was so upset with the math you can see the amount of stress she never played like that
ummm I think you are "reading" more into her demeanor than warrants. I think she was pissed at herself (I don't have a problem with that) for losing. I don't think Sakkari has a reputation for being disrespectful to other players.

@@rolinti9146 Definitely she needed that time out looked like she's gonna collapse. She's not an actress she's always fair and classy. People still tend to hate her due to this incident.
Karolina is not the type to fake it. She is always respectful, calm and classy. She took an MTO because she needed it.
Normally players do it to upset the rhythm of their opponent but Karolina was suffering bad with the heat in Australia, if she didn't take the break there was a possibility of her fainting. Sometimes players don't drink enough water during a match and get dehydrated and then get dizzy and weak. Muchova is just like Barty, they both play fair, no acting to get medical timeouts.

Muchova playing defensively in second and third sets was a surprise
Her injury worsened in the second set you could see her painfully touching her raptured ab from AO. Her backhand and especially serve was suddenly so much weaker in the second set.

Muchova need to learn how to play three setters. Her energy dipped in the second set and third.

I guess the best Czech lady named Karolina in the game nowadays is surnamed Muchova and not Pliskova. Unspectacular but consistent is the Muchova way. Sakkari made some dumb choices there. Great athleticism can't overcome poor decisions on the court.

I like Sakkari. But this nonsense of her losing the first set 6/0 has to stop. That means there’s a breakdown in her mental game. She needs to fix that or she’s never going to get much higher in the rankings. Muchova was much steadier and the better player in this match.
Horrible, cheap, lazy highlights. I'd prefer ATP style highlights where they show the big points and tell a concise story. I wanted to see Muchova serving well and going up 6-0, instead we get Sakkari failing to hold any serves in set one. Kinda rude.

That's hell of a highlight...👎 Throughout this video clip & right from the get go, it looked like, as if Sakkari is going to come out as a Winner in the end...🤔 How partial & cruel they people can be, who didn't even bother a least about showing a little of what those bigger points were that brought Muchova this win...☝️
