David Powers The Pennington fight was Holm's first fight in the UFC, and she was the co-main event. You can't judge a fighter by their first fight in octagon, as you have to factor in octagon jitters. For example, Thomas Almeida, who is an absolute killer, won a decision in his first fight in the UFC. Holm looked tremendously better in her second fight, where she dominated Reneau. All I'm saying is that Holm has a way greater chance to win this fight than people think she does; she's going to be the biggest fighter Ronda has faced, and the best striker she's ever faced. Also, it's going to be interesting to see how Ronda deals with Holm's kicking arsenal.

The more I learn bout Holly, the more I like her. She seems like a good quality person. Humble, down to earth, and kind. She's a woman who knows who she is and is secure within herself. Unlike Ronda who seems to put on an act all of the time, acting like a hard-ass.
Though I will always be a rousey fan holly has definitely become one of my favorites. Such a sweet woman and a badass fighter. Her victory was very much deserved
People don't realize that she may have been cautious in her two UFC fights. In the last ten seconds of her last fight, the opponent turned and ran away. The hands are lightning fast. We finally got to see some wrestling take-downs. This is a mystery to everyone.

Her hands looked like lightning and technically levels above Ronda's. Hope Holly is focused and aggressive from beginning and hurts Ronda early. She can't let Rousey bully her. Can't throw power shots moving backwards. Gotta hurt Rousey right away, then be technical. That right hook to left body kick looks lethal. Hoping it lands before Ronda clinches w/ Holly.

Despite Dana&Co. tossing Holly to the proverbial wolves on short notice, I am pleasantly surprised by Holly's real excitement and relaxed confidence. I'd like nothing more than to see her KO Rousey and bring her ego back down to earth. Can Holly win?? Without a doubt. Will she win? I'm not sure, but I'm certainly pulling for her. If she can adopt a killer instinct, put heavy mustard on every strike and kick like Beckham's life depends on it, we'll have ourselves a real fight.

Immediately when i saw this video the day before the fight, i said Rousey was going to lose because she has never fought someone like Holly. This girl punches andmoves like a dude, quick, coordinated and with power, not like 99% of girls who lack power and move awkwardly.
My crazy prediction : Ronda is gonna rush in all sloppy like she usually does and attempt to clinch .....and gets caught with a head kick and drops.

Holly's composure really was a boon for her in this fight. Like Chris Weidman against Anderson Silva, or RDA against Anthony Pettis. She didn't get caught up in the mystique of her opponent she focused on the clear weaknesses and took advantage of them. Was a beautiful fight. Much credit to Jackson's MMA.

I'm not a Rhonda hater and I always been a Holly fan. Holly is a way different fighter then Rhonda has ever faced. She is an excellent striker hands and feet, she has take down defense and the ability to move and get out of grapples when she is not comfortable. She also likes to hunt opponents and stay in their face sometimes. She can hit you while inside the grapple, and most of all. The Confidence and Calmness to not over panic like everyone else did when fighting Rhonda. I hope Holly puts her on her ass with the quickness. I also thing Rhonda is a little mad that Holly is getting all this attention. Let's Go Holly!!
