Welcome to the third video in our Vietnam series! In this video, we will be showing you everything to see and do in 48 hours in HANOI, VIETNAM!
We are spending 3 weeks in this beautiful country and we are currently in the city of Hanoi! We have been completely submerged in the hustle and bustle of the city. Hanoi has so much to offer and in today’s video, we are going to be taking you around and showing you all of the do not miss, top sights!
Our first stop was the Temple of Literature. There are 5 different courtyards to walk through and admire. and the city has done a lovely job of maintaining the grounds and the perfectly manicured gardens.
We also made stops at the Hoa Lo Prison, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Trúc Bạch Lake, and so much more!
One of our favorite stops was the Hanoi Train street! It’s a tiny narrow street surrounded by high narrow houses packed closely together. These families’ backyards are the railways where the train passes a few times per day. Ask the locals about the train schedule to get there for the best time!
There is so much to see and do in Hanoi! Hopefully, this video will help you plan a wonderful itinerary in this beautiful city!
Don’t miss next week when we check off a bucket list item and cruise Ha Long Bay!

  • As a Vietnamese student who lives abroad, I watch a ton of Vietnam travel vlogs to cope with homesickness and this series is hands down one of the best (if not the best) that I've seen! The production was amazing, you did a great job capturing even the small details which together constituted very accurately the vibe of Hanoi. The editing was super clean, great narrative and the whole tour seemed to be very well planned, plus you were also very respectful to the culture and the people ❤️ Seeing you getting instantly hooked to the food and slowly but obviously addicted to the coffee was so funny and cute! Hope you had a great time here!

  • You sure wouldn't know that Vietnam is a "communist" country. Private businesses are everywhere, everyone is hustling for economic self-improvement, and people basically go about their lives unbothered by the government. If only the US had figured out in 1963 that Vietnam only cared about communism as an instrument of emancipation from foreign imperialism, and didn't give a damn about the ideology itself, it would have saved both countries a lot of sorrow. I personally went there before the pandemic, and I plan to return soon. It's equal parts lovely and addictive.

    • In the history of thousands of years of national construction and defense, the Vietnamese people have had to conduct many resistance wars against foreign invaders to win and protect the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. Experiencing long and arduous battles, enduring many losses and sacrifices, more than anyone else, the Vietnamese people realize the value of peace, independence and freedom. Therefore, peace-loving is one of the outstanding traditions and typical cultural beauty of the Vietnamese nation.

It really did bring out the depth content of your video which makes it more meaningful and valuable video. Vietnam has a incredible history of war. One thousand year (1000) under the control of China, 100 years under the French colonialism, and 20 years of Vietnam War with the U.S. Vietnam managed to kick all enemies out of their country and they should be proud of their Freedom and Independence. Now, Vietnam is a peaceful country with beautiful sceneries, really hope to visit Vietnam before i die. Thank you for your meaningful video.

Having married a Vietnamese woman and travelled to the country on many occasions it's nice to see the same places that I have visited myself over the years. Keep up the great filming and don't change a thing your view on the topics are spot on, thankyou for sharing your wonderful journey and hope to see many more.

  • I just felt strange when I saw the prison where the late senator McCain was held... We, the Americans treated him as a hero. But, does anyone bother to ask how many bombs he dropped, or how many innocent Vietnamese civilians he killed? We all condemned Russia invading Ukraine now but how come no one condemns us for invading Vietnam then. The damages the Russian created in Ukraine is far less than the US did in Vietnam. War is a terrible thing no matter who started, even us. We should formally apologize to the Vietnamese.

  • Again Sammy and Tommy, another incredible video. The filming, editing and overall production seems like it’s from a studio. Someone said earlier your videos are the best among the vloggers in VN -I follow many of them - and they definitely pale in comparison to you two. Please never stop travelling and sharing with us

  • Your video is fantastic. You did really great job, the combination of music and the footage so good. The shot is about traffic, about people carrying the tree on their moped, about the street, its absolutely "Hanoi". I really love that. And the transition of footage is good for me though. Im really like the color of this video. A plus for me, same like you have to prepare very well for this trip, the plan, the background history. Through all of that, you were bringing mostly the vibe of Hanoi in your video. As a child of Hanoi, who study abroad. You make me really homesick now. Hope you have many fun and good experience.
