    • One of my neighbors is a low IQ, drunk, pill head that tried to extort money from me. Another one that just moved in has his nose all over my front yard, and had declared the quiet neighbors down the street to be the "known meth house," so I guess that makes him a slanderer. The others come/go from their house 15 times a day. I don't know what they are up to. I avoid all of them.

Every neighborhood has the unfriendly people, some have drug addicts others don't, but what I can guarantee is you do have genuinely neighborly people. The reluctance based on the few trouble makers makes you not meet the nice neighbors. Outnumber the hooligans and make a difference.

  • One thing I learned living in Brazil is: always make eye contact with who you think is gonna rob you. Stealth and surprise are key elements for a thief/robber/burglar to act and succeed. It happened with me more than once, I was surely gonna be robbed, then I looked at them and walked towards them and they just went away. In one of these situations they actually robbed the person right in front of me. Always make sure the robber knows you are aware of them. A thief is essentially a coward.

  • I am a Security Consultant with 50-years experience in private security service and electronic surveillance and detection equipment. The information testified to in this video is very good information, but a little outdated on alarm systems. Few people have home phones anymore, so nearly all alarm systems communicate by cellphone or Internet. Internet is very, very fast and often alerts the user at the same time as the monitoring station.

    @davidrobinson644@davidrobinson644 Жыл бұрын
    • If the alerted CCW home owner responds faster than the police the burglar is in serious danger. Properly installed alarm systems are not as easy to defeat as in the past. Internet security cameras alert the user and sometimes the alarm monitoring company with live video who can give descriptions of the burglars and vehicles used and can verify the alarm to expedite police response. Responding police, having more information from eye witnesses viewing live remote video surveillance will respond in force looking for more than just an open door.

    • I think it might be the fact that he's not trying to sell his innocence still (wich according to my father, who works corrections, NO criminal is guilty according to them).. so when you meet the ONE convict who owns up to his shit, you really do respect them for their honesty and you can finally see them as a real person again. Imagine it as: your ex cheats on you, you have video proof he did it, and he STILL says he was the most faithful man you could have ever been with. Can you make that relationship work? No. But maybe, just maybe, the one who is remorseful and begs for counseling and a second chance, you might be able to give it a shot.

    • @@briannk3720 amen brother, you definitely just helped me. Ive been struggling and battling with myself so hard latley. The pressure and stress is getting to the point where im almost broken again, while satan is standing there smiling. I did something I havent done in a long time a couple days ago. I closed my eyes, with such pain in my heart, tears running down my face, quite literally losing my will to live , and prayed to God whole heartedly to guide me again. To please help me have strength when satan is close and I am weak and vulnerable. That I am so sorry for knowing whats right and just, and still choosing to do wrong and evil. Then moment after I said I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, I was overcome with conviction and the holy spirit, literally felt chills throughout my body. So Istarted to pray and repent. The next day came and when I woke up I felt great! I hopped out of bed thanking God and started making a to do list for the day. Then moments later, I completely fell face first back into the same stuff that had me searching so desperately for the lord and nearly a shell of a man, and immediately felt hopeless. That was yesterday. Since then ive still felt like dirt, untill I came accross ur comment. 2 major but subtle things stood out to me the most among you're amazing story. READ YOUR BIBLE, and PRAY TO THE LORD. Huge brother!! So huge!!! Yesterday when I woke up I did neither. After writing this comment, and tomorrow and so on, I will make a consious and willing effort to tead my bible and pray every day. Thank you so much man, youre story is very inspiring and has definitely shed light in a dark place. Thank you, and God bless 😁

    • I had a tiny doxie like that. My parrot had climbed down her cage and was climbing up the coffee table leg to get to me on the couch. Never did that before. Didn't make a sound. I was watching tv and her cage was right next to it. Didn't notice a damned thing. Anyway I open the gate to the kitchen then let out my crated doxie. She shot past me so fast, it made me look. She didn't make a sound. Usually, asked whine and stand on her legs to get the birds. Had my parrot in her mouth. I screamed, grabbed them both and was spinning around. Don't know how I got her to drop the bird; because we've chased that dog and had to pry her jaws open to release a dead bird and to release my pug's face 😳 She killed a baby mole that suddenly ran out from under the drain pipe while we were walking up the stairs. She didn't even hesitate, just snapped it and killed it. Walking her at midnight, she heard? Smelled? A large dog 2 blocks away and took off like a bullet to kick it's azz😳 Fearless... Gentle with people and children... Ready to kill everything else - all 11lbs of her. Had the deep bark of a large dog. Not yappy at all. Damn! I miss that dog! Total bad azz!😂 The bird lived and wasn't shaken at all😅

I hope you continue to get help, speak Out, and get better and stay safe and maybe one day that you will be able to get in a place to continue helping the public and the help you need. • @@mookymoos3130 Thats from the Texas Tribune an online newspaper lol, which are only going off his original date, which is only the raw sentence handed out by the judge that doesn't factor in things like prison programs that reduce time, time already spent in jail for the crime before sentencing, good behavior and other variables that dictate actual release date. The actual TDoJ has his official records which are updated by the courts and what the prison system is going off of. Trust me on this one my man.

      @junkiexl86@junkiexl863 жыл бұрын
    • @@junkiexl86 ^ This. Sadly having been through the system myself, this is 100% correct. This messed with my family as well as they saw only the sentence the judge gave me and not what my actual release date was (which is updated each month, often lowering the first few months as things like Shawn said, get factored in). But yea, A newspapers information is by no means superior to the information of the actual prison system itself. They don't have up to the minute communications with the courts as the prison system (Texas Department of Justice) has to have. The man is getting out in 2023, so long as he keeps his nose clean inside and doesn't do anything to add more time to his sentence or lose any 'good time'. Also pretty much in every state offenders do not do the full sentence. Its usually 51% for non-violent crimes and 85% for violent crimes.
