Congrats Bruce. I think it was pool activities like this as a kid that helped adapt my body to freediving as an adult (not that I'm impressive or anything). My 10 year old boy just dove 20 meters INF. One proud dad here!

Thanks. This pool has clear water and enough light from the sun on one side so that results in better underwater footage. The sound shot at poolside comes straight from the gopro. The voiceove to shot with microphone at home

I am doing 50 meters underwater without fins right now in 50 meters swimming pool without contractions or heavy breathing after that swim, but I don't want to push it when I am alone. Maybe I can do +70m. But it can be dangerous. "Never train alone" they said :D. Dry training in holding a breath is really helping.
nice. but even 50m you shouldn't be doing alone. There is no pride in this, only risk.

I did 47 metres the other day, which was my record. Pretty insane how a 10 year old can already do 31 metres haha

taking a final breath of air is not a mistake at all. it's how we do it. on (partially) empty lungs it woukd be difficult to compete the lap.
