College students are continuing to protest the Israel-Hamas war. At New York City's Columbia University, where an encampment of students first made headlines, tensions are high and negotiations between students and administrators are stalled.

  • I’m sure that many people complaining about these students would go back and protest the Vietnam war. Don’t act like this is something new or unfounded. More than 30,000 innocent lives have been lost while being stuck inside a land-cage. To support that is wrong

  • This is Karma. In 2019 , U$ EU UK CAN AUS politicians encourage HK students to protest daily in campus and accuse HK polices doing their job. Encourage students of others country doing it , but not allowed in their own country. America's idea of "democracy" and "free speech" shown to the whole world.

  • Our university, colleges and schools leadership should recognize freedom of expression, freedom from oppressive systems, and freedom to challenge authority are exactly what we teach our students are the basic tenets of our representative democracy. Use of excessive force in form of private security forces, campus police, state troops, etc., against students is not a good look for our state and country!
