  • A little idea that came to my mind : as the liquid resin is extremely thin and a not too visquous liquid, the mate side of the keycaps comes from the roughness of the master keycap (the one used to make the mold) if you make a second mold with a polished keycap as master, the molded ones would have a polished surface straight out of the mold and wouldn't require further polishing

    • The originals are nice enough but I especially prefer the copied koi fish key cap.The fish look great and the blue-green colors are prettier and much more vivid.

  • It may not be the same as the original but I like your fish key better. It looks more natural and sea-like. All in all your keyboard is starting to look like a real treat for cats with these additions.

    • @@jedrek29t given that there are two shift keys, make one Dr. Pepper and the other Coco-la bottles with the caps pointing to each other. And the Enter Key, a highway with a couple of cars driving down it.

  • Jed again beautifully designed. Just had an interesting thought. Do all the keyboard keys in resin with alcohol inks and some 3d printed items so the light from the keyboard shines through especially if you have a gaming keyboard that changes color. 😜👍. Stay safe.

    • Don't let that stop you. There is only 1 you and the world/ your community is missing out on your creativity. I got into resin mid 2020 and though I enjoy seeing others do amazing pieces, I'm learning to enjoy the pieces I create as well. Plus it can save you money on unique gifts for family and friends. :)

  • Dont think I've seen anyone try them on KZhead yet, but if you have one of the large & oddly shaped 'Enter' keys, you should try make one of your own. Specifically im thinking of the keys from the British keyboards, but im not sure of the official name.
