I think it would be cool to digitally design your embeds and print them with a resin 3d printer or something that will give a good level of detail on such a small scale, and then paint and use those :)
You know, this whole entire channel is my comfort videos. These vids are also perfect for when you’re sick and bored, because the videos don’t have enough movement to make your head hurt but enough things going on where you can still have your full attention on it. That would be cool but wouldn't it be ruined too fast/easily since they work there? It would get stained and dirty. Maybe it would be better to do it in a room they don't use too often or that they use for less messy stuff.
@@NosebleeddeGroselha Probably but I am sure it's easier to clean than concrete as the mess would not seep in it and should be just surface grime that probably doesn't stick as it does on concrete :) but this is actually a thing, there are special resin for floor covering so it's not a completely crazy idea either, just a very expensive one

For future projects, if you want to use that first mild stuff, try wrapping it around the sides instead of going from the top. I've made quite a few with that stuff and wrapping usually works a lot better 🙂

Very fun to watch and such GREAT results! 👍😊 I'm usually a silent watcher, but I'd like to make a suggestion (even though I'm a year late!): instead of using the heavy steel ball bearings, you might find it easier to use those firm foam balls used in slime? They come in small, but various sizes (like, 2-6 mm usually) and might be ideal for planets? They're cheap, readily available just about anywhere.
I appreciate the way guys are so real in your videos.

Idea: Rather than having an entire solar system in one key, make one key a sun and then form a solar system with other keys around it extending out from the center of the keyboard.
You just made me want custom keycaps for the first time. You could center and try for a circle, but ASDFGHJKL is just the right number to line em up.
Like the number keys at the top so they can be in a row!
I'd rather put them in pseudo random positions. Sun best the center, planets spacing possibly influenced by our actual solar system. But I couldn't hope to resist including some spaceship or spacestation, probably from the star trek universe. Realism be damned...

I know the ball bearings were tiny but sometimes people who do acrylic pours also add flotrol *sp or water or even soap to make the cool cells- and just thin it so not such a glob... just idea- nothing wrong with them at all and will look so cool in the keys! And thank you for showing the fails- makes me feel better because sometimes the fails can be so discouraging. I have the same putty stuff and it just about broke me of mould making.
When you're a crafting channel it's always better to include the "fails". That is the only way we all can learn.

Model-maker's tip: The key to not getting surface bubbles on molds is to paint your object with the silicone before you submerge it. You can also prevent surface bubbles on your resin projects by painting your mold and embeds with resin before pouring.
