This time we visited BOULANGERIE ANCIENNE in Niigata City. This bakery has a reputation for being both pleasing to the eye and delicious to eat, with an array of beautiful breads filling the store. and effort is put in, are especially beautiful and eye-catching in the store. Baking bread is hard work, but it was fascinating to see how carefully and skillfully the beautiful breads were made.

    • 目の保養にはなるけど、食べたいかって言われたら‥。 多分、パンは芸術品ではなく食べ物なんだという基本を忘れたのが、閉店の原因じゃないのかな。

  • Got to give it to the Japaneese😊The majority of their people are hard working They have put to practice All of their life training ❤What I really adore Is the respect they have.When entering a home or dwelling😊 They remove their shoes and are very clean.They have suffered and their country has lost it's people through the year's and the land's beauty. They perervered to grow and maintain their park's and garden's❤.If one visit's you cannot help but be "touched" by it's vision of serenity and beauty🎉Thankyou from Canada for allowing, your vision and talent's to enter my life and ❤

  • They weigh the croissant before and after to know they filled it up with the same amount of filling as the rest! Amazingly thorough! I'm still amazed at the weave design one! So much work but it's gorgeous!!! I'm drooling, I hope to eat from there someday.

  • I am in awe of this exquisite craftsmanship of such decadent bread and pastries. They don't skimp on the fillings and it's wonderfully decorated. I commend on these workers and their skills! Looks yummy and drooling delicious . I've enjoyed watching this video.

  • 職人さんの愛情と技術が詰まった贅沢なパンは美味しいに決まってるよね。地元にある小さなパン屋さんの裏側もきっとこんな感じなんだろうな。そういうお店を大事にしたいと思った。このお店はちょっと遠くて行けないので。と思ってたらコメント見たらなんとこのお店は閉店してしまったそうで･･･残念です。

  • Looking at the prices at the end I can say compared to SF bakery prices they are a bargain! At 400 yen, that converts to $2.75US. Good luck finding any of those for less than double that here...Props for the hard work they do day after day!

  • パン屋の厨房、懐かしいな😢 成形してる方たちのお顔がチラッと見えた時、当時の私がお世話になったメンバーの顔に見えてしまった。30年前、忙しかったけど楽しい2年弱でした。 それにしてもとても美味しそうな手のこんだパンばかりでワクワクします❤。そして皆さんの手際のいいお仕事ぶりに感服です。 これからも頑張ってください❗
