WHY DO I CALL MY FANS GREG?
Greg is the strongest family on the internet, we're the fastest growing channel on KZhead, and we make fire content. So, instead of making up some pun using my name and calling my fans that, I decided to use a different name entirely. A name so strong, haters tremble when it is spoken. WE ARE GREG. AND WE ARE TAKING OVER THE INTERNET. And all you have to do to join is hit subscribe and turn on notifications.

I mean a lot of the other classic fairytales like Little red riding Hood are a lot darker than what's actually portrayed today. Jekyll and Hyde is not that much darker. Plus, there’s a cartoon Jekyll and Hyde movie for kids. It actually shows him kill people. off screen of course, but it doesn’t shy away from the fact that hyde did kill people. it was insane, man. • @@lank5582 i’m not saying that it has to be dark to be a fairytale, I’m just pointing out that fairytales have been dark before so the fact that jackal and Hyde is a dark tale shouldn’t eliminate the fact it can be a fairytale. That’s all I was saying.

      @realafah@realafah Жыл бұрын
    • I mean it's a fairytale in the same way Dracula is Snow White and Lovecraft is Cinderella lol? I'm pretty sure when Danny said it isn't a fairytale because it's a horror, he didn't mean "its too dark", he meant the tropes and genre markings of horror are different to fairytales, ie, Fairytales are usually stories passed on verbally, not written into an official canon, and they tend to have a moral/message, whereas horror usually doesn't.

Every night she tries to take the new wife's hand and drag her away, so she has to lock the door at night. But even then, she can still hear "Casey" waiting by the door. Instead we got this depressing story where a little kid can't bond with her stepmother because said stepmom is jealous of a toddler and treats her like a cryptid. EDIT: Just saw the absolutely wild U-turn of an ending and I'm creasing.

  • I'm pretty sure her nose shrinking at 13:02 implies that she only saw it as so Pinocchio-esque because her husband talked down to her. And when she 'found confidence' we saw what it really looked like. But I blame the abysmally bad animation for that not being clear, so much weird crap happens in these videos.

If it is what they intended, it wasn't just the animation that failed to convey it, it was the writing and everything else too. Regardless of what they intended though, thanks for making the story a lot better! Maybe you should be the one writing these instead 😅

    • @@specializedchemicals6669 I got very lucky in that regard. My stepmother had a kid (my stepsister) when she was only 19, and spent most of her young adult life raising her, so she felt like she missed out on the opportunity to be a mature parent and have kids with a better guy than her ex-boyfriend. So she was happy to meet us when my dad introduced me and my brother to her. She's awesome, and I feel like I got the best case scenario for a great step-parent and stepsibling. I feel bad for everyone else who has messily divorced parents though, it can be really stressful to meet the 'new parent' in your life :(
