I just bought one, I think one full tank will run the car for 800km!!!!!! Means about 16km/ liter or 6.5 liter/ 100 km👏👏
I’ve had mine for 3 years… it absolutely will do 800km. As long as the engine is off and you are rolling down a hill. Vw says it should get 30mpg in the city but I normally don’t get any higher than 24.

@@kievzmei MY 1.4L - manual shift - on Fuelly show just under 41 MPG @ 45,000 miles. 60city40hwy use.

Thinking about picking up a used one with very low miles (8,000). What it can do is more than adequate for North American highways (being that's what it was designed for).

It’s a great car man. If you want a car with great features that will keep payments and fuel costs low this is the way to go. It’s not a fast car by any means but it has more than enough power to pass on the interstate. If you are a faster cruiser (90-95 mph) it will do great. Nothing like cruising at 95 and watching the mpg counter stay at 32-35 mpg
@@ShakeNBakeSTL I cruise at 65 and get 43 MPG. To be fair... us canadians are paying 7.05$ a gallon of diesel

in Deutschland oder USA ? Wenn Deutschland ..wie ist das mit den US Spezifikationen ,also Getriebe ,Lenkung ,Kühlung etc und ..wie stellen sich die deutschen VW Werkstätten an ,wenn du mit dem ankommst ,ich meine Service und Ersatzteile ?
Habe auch ein ist ein schönes Auto nur Ersatzteile zu bekommen gestaltet sich bei vw schwer
@@abostil6133 wie ich vermutet habe ,ja ,VW sieht Grauimporte - besonders aus Übersee - wohl nicht so gerne und legt da paar Steine in den Weg ,bezgl Routan und US Passat wurde ja auch in der Fachpresse " abgeraten " ,da sind die Japaner kulanter ,ich selbst habe zwar keinen US Import ,sondern einen deutschen Auris 1.6 von 08 ,aber mein Händler hatte auch schon Sienna ,FJ Cruiser etc auf dem Hof zur Durchsicht und Reparatur . Das kuriose ...diese Autos werden auch niemals in D offiziell angeboten ,aber die Ersatzteile können völlig problemlos sogar - wurde mir jedenfalls gesagt - bei Toyota D geordert werden ,bei Honda -z.b beim Element - ebenso

This car is limited to 222 km/h. I own a 2019 Jetta but mine is tuned and I could reach 235km/h and there is a video here on KZhead against a stage 3 Polo 1.0 TSI

honestly i did ride these cars like about 100 mile (160 km) only Ford Taurus was on road trip. For me i love all these 4 cars. I think taurus is more comfortable. what about Dodge Charger or Chrysler 300C? Are you from US?
buy this Jetta because it eats less fuel/by board computer) then most of modern EU diesels so it is good car for long distances because you can travel up to 1500km or more without refueling in USA

127 mph/ 204kmh is all she'll do. Trust me I've done it on texas highways downhill, and you can feel it restrict at 127
Yes thats true, on other models with german specs and same engine it can hit 135 or 140 mph no problem (215-225 kmh)
Oh I can definitely tell it would do more. You can watch the rpms lock in at like 4500.
Mine will do 160mph which is 258.4 kph and it didn’t go faster because I ran out of room to go

Really like the looks of many VWs including this one. However, no matter what year a VW is, they ALWAYS have some issues. Many times working on VWs, dip stick broke simply checking oil, or plastic shield(s) under engind bay...broke while carefully removing to change oil, oil filter, spark plugs etc. My point, VWs...most..are cheaply made and its a shame. Never buy VWs or Fords or Jeeps. Jeep rhymes with cheap for a reason. Sad...
Mk6 never had anything wrong for me and to be fair i treat it like shit (drift all the time lol)
I have never had any issues with my Volkswagen.
Never an issue with my vw 2017. 51k miles and it runs as first day!
I've always had VW cars and any single one of them has ever turned the check engine indicator or any other malfunction whatsoever. It's not the car but the owner.
My 2015 Jetta is built like a tank and handles better than any Toyota I’ve ever owned!
