Ryan’s 2016 season is so underrated. One of the best seasons of qb play by a quarterback. Sucks Atlanta choked
Also underrated 2018 season
Kyle shanahan basically brought heavy pre snap movement into the game during this season. Matt ryan was never the same after he left, still a really good QB and will probably be very successful with the colts
@@donsolos well Atlanta as a team hasn’t been the same since 2016 lmao. Ryan’s o line he’s had to work with since then has also been bottom five. Also he quite nearly replicated this season in 2018. Just 3 less Tds
@@derekperez7524 maybe his stats were similar cause they aired it out all day but the offense was significantly better with kyle shanahan calling plays. Did you guys change change offensive line schemes after kyle left? I don't think his zone blocking scheme is the norm in the NFL, and changing your blocking scheme is usually a disaster for a year or 2

Not really. MVP season and had a fantastic playoff run. He was on his way to one of the best SB performances ever. Only thing he did wrong was take that sack.

We were lucky to make it to the NFC title game that year cause we had no business being there. I think this is the year rodgers did his infamous "run the table" press conference and they won like 8 in a row to close out the season

There was Brady, Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Rivers, Brees, Rodgers, Ryan, Flacco, Stafford, Dalton, Newton, and Wilson--all with the same team for 6 years or longer, and each of which (except Brees) was still starting for his original franchise. That's 12 out of 32. Now we have 3 of 32 since 2016. Truly insane... Edit: I forgot about Luck and Tannehill, but I believe they both missed 2017 due to injury.

Maybe. This new seeding arrangement would've changed things. The Packers would've been the #2 seed and would've drawn Seattle in the Divisional Round. That's not a guaranteed win. Atlanta would've faced Dallas.
Unquestionably a thrilling game, but I disagree with the title. While Matt Ryan may have won, Rodgers was definitely more impressive to watch in my opinion, although both qbs were great in this game.
Yess especially rodgers playing without half of starters and no running game plus ryan had everything around him aganist worst defence in the league.Still props to them for winning

Atlanta *had* to put up 30+ a game because the defense was so bad. Inability to score 30 in the SB doomed them.

Nah different not overrated most of his playoff losses are because of bad defense. Even with his recent bad performance this playoffs he's still one the greatest qbs ever that's just fact.
