Great fighter good friend
One of those classic more modern day eastend boxers.Saw another clip of this film where they were training in a London gym and it looked so hard and gritty, genuine old school British boxing.Trying to get a copy of the complete film

Good fighter Jimmy Flint,i used to train with him in the Peacock!
Wayne Alexander With respect Why did he not Win anything ?
Graham Harrison i will answer that one. Back in the day there was only 2 world titles and the way to get to the world title was most likely win the British then commonwealth or European. After that there may have been a title eliminater. The British champ at the time who he lost to was Par Cowdell. The same Cowdell who took the great Salvador Sanchez 15 rounds. These days Jimmy would have had multiple routes to go down to get a title.
I was a York Hall when you knocked out Takaloo with that left hook. Some punch that. Plus when you made an italian i think catapult back of the ropes.
@@johnfairclough2998 Yes John thanks 😊 two great wins for me, having Johnny Tapia on my ‘undercard’ is something that I’ll never forget!
@@KOKINGWAYNE yes i'd forgotten that about Tapia. Brilliant little boxer he was. Remember being right above him when he threw a barrage of punches and scored a first round stoppage i think.
because my mate he ran in to a peak pat cowdell if my memory serves me right , boxings about more than having a helluva dig which he did in both hands, cowdell couldnt punch to save his life but was a master boxer. i remember jimmy flint though he was a cracking typical west ham/repton crowd pleasing puncher.
Pat cowdell and bomber Graham, 2 fighters 2 World champs nowadays
