It amazes me that there are grown men out there that still believe our government cares.
I would hardly call them "grown men". Many of them are millennial, and most millennials are mentally and emotionally stunted to the point where they're in a state of permanent childhood in an adult's body, and this is coming from me who's a millennial myself. People our age are in a perpetual state of permanently being mentally juvenile, and that's why they want the government to take care of them because they never learned to be adults so they need a mommy and daddy to take care of them still and the government is their mommy and daddy.
Only about themselves, how else do they become multi-multi millionaires in 12 years of politics
@@two-wheeledprepper3147 I think you are wrong I'm a millennial and so are all my friends and none of us trust the government, its all boomers who lived amazing easy lives who never really had to question the government who trust them.
@@AGMI9 people like you and I are the exception not the rule when it comes to millenials, I'm afraid. You are mostly correct about boomers being the ones trusting, though. Boomers didn't have to grow up with the same societal uncertainties we did and have a normalcy bias so they don't think anything will ever go wrong. Therefore, boomers trust the government, however, it's not in the same toxic, vindictive and parasitic manner of trusting the government the same way millenials trust the government.
Just obey. Back the blue. And it will all go back to normal
Having once had to bug out with two young sons in tow (fleeing for my life) through one of the hottest deserts on Earth (the Nullarbor, in Australia), I can tell you, this guy did almost everything wrong! Every desert dwelling tribe travels at night, and pitches their tents and sleeps during the day! The darkness protects you from the heat of the sun, but also from bandits. You choose an area with at least a little shade (even a shaded rock) and sleep through the hottest part of the day. At dusk you wake up, eat, drink, pack your kit while there is still some light and and prepare to move on, as soon as it is dark. If you come across a dry lake bed, don't think that you can shortcut across it safely! You can be seen for miles in every direction, there is no shade, and usually no water. In addition to this, dry lakebeds and salt pans sometimes have quicksands (or in salt beds, thin crust that hides deadly caustic reservoirs of super-concentrated saline). Keep to the foots of mountain ranges, there is usually water and shade there, and also often patches of forest or scrub that contain wildlife that you can hunt! Even in a desert, trees often have hollow trunks that fill with water during a rain, or they may store drinkable quantities of water in their trunks or just under their bark. It depends on your area, but in Australia, Paperbark trees and Baobab (Boab) trees are known water sources for Aboriginal tribes, also all opuntias (Prickly Pears) are fully edible (just watch out for the spines and also glaucids (almost microscopic irritating spines or hairs), and their fruit and pads are a good source of water. Opuntia pads and fruit can be de-prickled by either brushing them with a coarse broomy shrub or briefly roasting them on the coals of a fire. Some other cacti have poisonous leaves and stems (san pedro, peyote, saguaro especially), but all cactus and succulent fruit is edible, and most are quite juicy as well! The other cactus that is fully edible is Cholla, although it has a lot of spines and glaucids, which can be burnt and then scraped off. It is called the "Jumping Jack" or "Boxing Glove" cactus for a reason, though, so you will have to be very careful when harvesting it! I hope this information helps someone, if you ever have to bug out into a desert biome. God Bless!
Yes thank you for sharing
What was the situation where you had to bug out? If you don't mind me asking. Great info by the way.
Hey man, i live in a desert area and the info was spot on. Thanks. I would like to add, learn how to work with trash, how to make pet cordage and so on. PET bottles are a godsend in survival situations.
Thanks for sharing
@@JavierChiappa Never heard of "pet cordage", unless it is cordage made from plastic bottles.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT bug-out without a plan, provisions, protection and a safe place to go.
roger that.
To many people think "the woods" is a safe place.
Wow. Thnk u for the response.
Gee thanks.
Right. Like nobody would consider ventilating your house and everyone in it in 7 seconds with 30 rds of m855 green tip from 200 yards just to see of you have any ramen left in your cupboard.

I meant it's not flesh we wrestle against but of spiritual principalities and this world and in the Heavenly realms
If this ever happens I am going to stay in the safety of my own home. Until there is nothing left.
Bug In!
From the evening when I watched The Day After with a group of friends as a teen to this very day I swear I am staying put. I’m not traveling aimlessly. I’m hunkering down in my home. When I get robbed and killed I would rather it be in my home than exhausted, cold, tired and in great fear along the road. In my opinion it will happen either way.
Agree. Between Detroit and Toledo, bug out to where? We decided long ago to stand where we stand.
I'll be 60 next week. I will be standing my ground. Not because I can't travel but because I don't want to. I've had a very interesting and satisfying life. I'll make sandwiches and enjoy the dance. Once the music starts, all bets are off, so the good people of the world might even win.
Libra here as well. And you are so right. It is easier to guard a fort than a traveling circus. People who need to bug out, need to do it long before SHTF. Waiting until it happens is more like suicide.
Yeah I'm staying put. With the caveat of suicide before being raped
The day after is nothing compared to Threads
Prepare for the worst and hope for the best
Expect the worst and hope for the best
That's original.
2:09 If you don't want someone to kick your door down, "INSTALL IT SO IT OPENS OUTWARDS". Kicking against the entire perimeter of the door is impossible. When I lived in Finland, we had 3-inch-thick doors that opened outwards.
And a 12 gauge on the other side!
In the kind of snow country I live in, doors that open out would leave you trapped unless they are opening in a covered alcove.
@@jayleeper1512 I was going to say the same thing. Also, it's easier to trap you inside too.
If your door opens outwards, the hinges will be outside. All they need is a hammer & a screwdriver to pop the hinges & remove the door.
@@DickGozinya-zl2bd There are hinges for that but they lock in with an Allen set screw. Then you need a hammer, screwdriver and an Allen wrench. 🤣

I had post nuclear environment training. You are exactly right. In Sweden, Russia, etc., they have a space underground for each citizen, but not the US. We are left out in the cold and radiation, chem/bio/viral/bac weapons and whatever mutates from that. In most countries, you have a chance underground though I imagine the local government will dictate on everything from sex slaves to workers going out and cleaning up in radiation zones while they monitor with drones. No work, No eat. The US though, we have no provisions for general public safety. Nothing. You can bet though, if you do survive cause of your luck and skillset, they will damn fast put you to work for room and board (likely MREs and a dirty ass smart cot and a green blanket) and work your ass until you fall over, while hoarding the meds for themselves and triage the sick, and watch also on drones. Isn't technology just wonderful ?
It's amazing that this is a pre covid comment. Your wisdom was ahead of it's time.
The US military is the best in the world bar none. Don't let the limited conflicts fool you. Those were occupations doomed to fail in the long run because of the population. If there was an attempt at invasion the invader would lose. If there was an attempt at nuclear war everyone would lose but most assuredly the attacker. We are always watching. We are always listening. We are always calculating. I may not have faith in government which keeps proving itself to be for the rich but I have faith in the military. Woe be unto any nation which thinks differently.
Stay in your home until most of the first panic is over (about 30days) until you hit the road. It's too dangerous outside and you're home can offer a defendable area.
Unless your home in the path of a Chinese combined arms division, or s polluted by derailed trains.
Yeah. Just don't even think about it.. The reality is absolutely nothing will EVER EVER ABSOLUTELY EVER happen inside the USA ---- other than this same old slowest motion sssssssdlo mo creep down the same old corruption injustice perversion upside down world bizarre decline. It'll take thousands of years to drop all the way to the bottom to where all will see it. There will never be any EMP, long-term grid down, nukes flying in, civil war, or pandemic that actually truthfully kills millions of people due to the illness itself. Etc. it'll never ever happen because the corrupt unjust perverted in control have a very specific plan and it's a very slow plan... I would totally lose it if anything were to happen too him. When I watch videos like this I try to put myself into their shoes, their mindset, dreaming.......I love all of you, be safe out there, very trying times.
relax dude
Yep, relax. What you can do is what I have done. 1. Decide on whether are going to leave home or stay. If you are gonna stay some things become easier, other things aren't. You are going to make a decision on where you're gonna go also, who ya gonna be living with, etc. Once those simple decisions are made then the real work begins. Teach yourself and kids skills...lots of skills. That is something that they can pass on to anyone, skills don't wear out, break and can be applied to anything or any situation: such as camping, outdoor survival, games and even work. From that point on, you just add to the skills and you never know know it will take you or your kids. My eldest finished with the National Guard, got through college and wound up as a research scientist. And I don't have any worries about their family's future nor abilities. I can say the same for my younger child. First learn critical thinking skills, turn off the TV, get up from the game station and get outside. That is IF you want to set a positive example for your kids. Life is for Living, learning, and passing on your knowledge and values to your children. And it can be a super fun trip!
Chemical weapons were only stay in a certain place for so long, especially with the wind blowing. It’ll blow it away, so you don’t need to keep your mask on.
I've seen this film 4 times now and being a father of two beautiful boys it hits home harder every time I see it . I stay on my knees and ask God to protect us not just my family but all who are going to suffer WHEN this scenario plays out . God have mercy on us All . Ammo ammo ammo...worth more than gold.....
James Wewerka it’s only worth more than gold if you have the guns for the ammo
Very true
I would only trade ammo for food, while I guarded said ammo with my own fire power... Gold will be worthless, heavy....and anyone with a weapon can take it, if they want something heavy and worthless lol, but I get what you meant...good day to you sir
Remember Only trade ammo with people you trust due to the fact that they can use that against you.
Eventually, you will run out of bullets, but probably run out of fresh gasoline first. Once those two things happen, its back to bows and arrows on horseback... Who still knows how to make a bow and arrow from scratch? How many horses will still be alive when people are starving and on the verge of cannibalism?

@Stephen Smith Well, it would depend on the particular apocalypse. People in rural areas who are mostly self-sufficient could have a very good life even in some scenarios. That could be a life worth surviving for.

Omg I'm watching this with my 2 year old son sleeping next to me and I started crying when his son said he couldn't feel his legs, I know my fiancee thinks I'm just one of those "crazy peppers" because I spend a lot of time watching learning and practicing survival skills and reloading ammo for all my guns and I pray that we don't see something like this come to pass it scares the living fuck out of me to think about it. I hope to god my son and I don't have to go through this I don't sleep much and this definitely didn't help that at all

It is coming sooner then later, get as prepared as you can with the time we have left.
Well said. Even if nothing globally catastrophic happens in our lifetimes, survival skills are always good to know and share, they encourage a problem-solving mentality that derails panic. I recently read about a couple whose car stalled and died in a sudden snowstorm on a semi-isolated road, who probably would've survived if they'd had some "prepper" experience.
Listen to your heart, god is trying to tell you something. I can feel it to...I also have a 2 year old son, and I sleep with a shotgun and a pistol by me. I will protect my son with my last breath if I have to..🙏☝️❤️💪

My journey into prepping started much less dramatically much more realistically 1993. The No Name Storm hit. With absolutely no warning. We didn't know we were in it until we were in it deep Got caught completely flat footed with no power, food, phone, or water and half a tank of gas for two weeks Never again I've survived within any real inconvenience and actually thrived through several hurricanes so far. And when the shortages of the pandemic hit i didn't even notice. Just abit of information for preppers, those dust masks have practical drawbacks. I've worked at lead smelters & I can tell you after wearing those types for 12 hours a day for several weeks they really start to hurt. Must be clean shaven to seal the masks effectively & the cartridges do get blocked up in dusty conditions so spares are necessary. Full face masks are the go for long term usage.
May I ask why would you want to prep for this just jump off a building this is no way to live if you do survive every waking minute you are at a big threat of being shot robbed or starving, do you really want to live 60 years because let's say you're only 20 even if you did survive you might not only be lonely but you could watch your love ones die of the worst ways

Great movie short. I just pray this (apocalypse) thing never happens. At least you folk in the USA have a constitutional 2nd amendment, the Castle doctrine, Stand Your Ground laws etc. Therefore, you have access to guns and you can defend yourselves. Here in Canada, we don't have such statutes, so we are basically toast. Since our citizens are not allowed to own firearms for self defence and only for sporting/hunting purposes. Unless you own a firearm for those reasons, the rest of us would be at the mercy of the thousands of criminals here who own guns illegally. Usually they are smuggled in from the US. For you see, here we depend too much on our police forces and the government to protect us.
glad you enjoyed it. Yes but sadly that 2nd amendment right is currently under attack...
How did Canada get so far advanced along the globalist, NWO agenda? No Hiroshima, no Nagasaki, no Korea, no Vietnam, no Iraq, no Afghanistan. Canada is far-and-away superior to the US in almost every aspect - it's respected by pretty much every nation on the face of Earth, and by most citizens of those nations - whereas while it's VERY hard to find anyone outside the US who has any 'respect' for the US - it's extraordinarily easy to find countries and people that have contempt for it. The US might want to pause and ask itself 'WHY are we so disliked? What are we doing wrong?' .. and I say that as an unbiased outsider who has traveled extensively in both the US and Canada.
Ryan Curtis Canada doesn’t have near the population. Canada doesn’t have near the racial differences in its history of immigration. Canada is, in comparison, still fairly homogenous. Canada has never had the manufacturing capability because population base. Comparing Canada to the USA is just like the dipshits who compare the USA to Norway, Switzerland, etc. It doesn’t compute - at all. Canada’s entire population is smaller than California’s, except Canada’s population is spread across 3,600,000 sq/miles, where as California is 164,000 sq/miles. America flushes* more shit per day than the entire population of Canada weighs. In closing, Canada is not “more advanced than the USA”.
@@ryancurtis386 I have traveled all over the world and have never found any such respect for Canada or disrespect for the US as you have described. Hahaha! Sounds like you live in a liberal bubble because I have heard such idiotic statements from people on MSNBC and on college campuses. The President of Mexico and their elites say one thing, the average Mexican citizen says something very different. And the regular working class people in places as diverse as Mexico, the south Pacific, China and Pakistan, all places I have spent considerable time, all speak highly of the world's last great hope: America. Not Canada. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE Canadians. But Canada is a spectator nation while America runs the ball down the field. And EVERYONE knows that.
I watch a lot of these short films. This one stuck with me, probably because I have a son. Good job on this film!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. We are making the next episode(5) of the series.
Same. Films like this and The Road always make me wonder what I would be capable of doing to protect my son. This guy did his best with limited gear and has to deal with the heartbreak of what happened. Amazing how children can give you a completely different perspective
Very few Hollywood films can even replicate this oh shit everything has gone to shit vibe. Hats off to the makers of this awesome short film.
That’s such an awesome compliment. :) very appreciated. Thank you. And welcome to the Channel.
Michael Roix hollyweird are in with the globalists big time! Fuck them! Boycott there crap and load up heavy!
If you want a great place to film a post apocalypse film, the island of Ebeye in the Marshall islands would be perfect
Speaking of islands. . . I hope someone with clearance makes an indie post-apocalyptic film set on Plum Island someday. There's some really good-creepy settings there -- ancient archeological ruins, Revolutionary-era ruins, and Cold War era ruins. Also some beautifully-desolate, vacant beaches. It's safe to breathe there as long as you stay outside and don't go into any of the Cold War buildings; but I'm pretty sure it's still off-limits for filming. Hopefully not forever. . .
Unarmed Clay, puts his son in a paint/particulate mask. Pitches a tent outdoors, with no friends/allies. Illustrative perhaps of one of the many ways urbanized naifs will meet their end.
Ya Clive isn't the brightest character in this series.
@@XelotFilm Series? There's more already done or planned?
Yes, 4 total episodes(Bugout is a prequel it was filmed as the 4th episode) so far, we will begin shooting the next episode this year.
Hey Tony, do you have much acting experience? reel? There will definitely be background actors needed. Also where are you located? we are west coast.
@TonyElbows I'd be prefect!
2024 and this aged well! Get your house in order!
looking forward to the next short. This one was great.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for stopping in :)
Why did this end?? Dude this is so amazing. Make a full movie with this material cause I guarantee you that this will make the big screen! Amazing detail and it left me hanging with so many ideas as to what will come when they arrive in town
Hey friend, its a series. We are working on episode 5 :) should be have it filmed and in the can by december or january. But we will also be releasing other content until then. Glad you enjoyed it.
The man hauling his child arrived to the crest of the ridge, sees the desert expanse. "Left hand, Clive" says a disembodied voice.
I just bought a couple hundred rounds of more ammo after watching this
Stock up on ammo as much as possible theres goin to be a time and place where government going to stop selling firearms &Ammo to the public and whoever dont own or have ammo or both your going to be the first ones to go real spit
Did h register for a gun license because if you did and shit goes down and the governments taking guns they’re gonna go to the homes of people who have a registered gun license and have history of already bought guns
@@jenntaggart861 I seriously doubt this. The government isn't going to care if you have an AR15 when they have tanks and drones. Also, there are many scenarios where it would make sense to have the gun and the government wouldn't care. Foreign EMP attack Nuke Pandemic, just to name a view. Now...if you're talking about the government wanting total control over it's citizens than I would agree, but that wouldn't happen without a fight anyway. So...I don't believe the government will ever actually come take weapons. Once they started it wouldn't be good.
@@jenntaggart861 live in a red state the dems are the ones taking away guns.

Very good (but sad) shortfilm.
I had goosebumps! Great little film!
glad you enjoyed it :) its part of a series we are currently making.
Loved it !!
I live in a valley surrounded by tall mountains with over a million people in it, almost nobody is bugging out successfully, you'll be competing with tens of thousands of others trying to do the same...even you make it out, to where? People don't realize how freakin' hard it is to live off the land for any real length of time. Unless you have an impregnable underground bunker with years of supplies in it you are most likely not going to make it, but what kind of life would that be anyway? Your best bet is to live in a rural area as part of a good community that will work together, have each others backs, otherwise you are just screwed.
Wow! Nice work! Drew me in and kept me there. Funny dialogue, Dave:) but it works. Sad and want to see more. Thanks for posting!
Glad you enjoyed it. We are making the next episode, stay tuned :)
Very well done!!! I cried for Alex at the end. Keep up the good work!
Thanks :) We are working on the next episode for this series. Glad you had a good experience with the watch :P
My friends this is what America and other places will in fact become. Please prepare and get ready.
My heck it's like a mirror image of 2023
That sound travels fast from those explosions. Probably the best shtf short I've seen. Can't wait for more.
Marketable improvement in film making on this one. Good job. Very heartfelt. We are also doing an Ongoing Post Apocalyptic film series called The Survivors. Can't wait to see more.
nice! watched first episode and just sub'd
@@XelotFilm Hey Thanks. We will be paying attention to your future en-devours as well. Don't forget to hit that notification bell. KZhead doesn't notify you if you don't.

When the SHTF the U S. Government and their officials will be deep underground in their fallout shelters while we will be facing the music, and the music will not be pleasant. If anyone thinks the government cares or will somehow come to the rescue can think again. There will be no rescue and you will be on your own.
The Hawaiian guy has no Aloha. Disguising his name as José without a Mexican accent is not hard to point out. Besides, the tats give it away. Guy hauling his kid, not a prepper. If he was? He'd have a to go bag ready-made, and a few firearms at hand. But i get the concept of the show, the more people that don't plan. Will end up like this guy and his kid. 👋
It's crazy how I lived in the city for 44 years and talked about stuff like shtf to buddies now I'm in the country and feel much safer
🙄
Where?
Definitely safer away from cities. People can be self-sufficient in isolated areas, but cities will be a mess, they rely on getting everything trucked or flown in.
Saw the first one about a year ago and loved it so I am glad to see this on the air(sorta)!
Thanks Appreciate that :) We are working on the 5th episode.
I enjoy watching this kind of short film but when I saw a child makes me sad that he get through this kind of situation. 😢
Their clothes is so clean and hair so nicely styled.
This is very good and also watched this w my earbuds, really good ones. The sound scape and track is perfect. I hope and pray we don't get to this level of stupidity. But humanity is by its existence unpredictable. But as a film this is really good.
Thank you, appreciate the compliment :) Glad you enjoyed it. We are currently making the next episode of this series.
This is the g version, the reality will be much much worse.
The ability to flee in an instant with what you need is thee most important survival skill! Having stashs along the escape route is necessary!
It’s coming sooner than we expect, start preparing everyone. May we all be in gods hands. 😔
If people would follow the CDC and comply with lawful orders we could have our society
@@SoulforSale if people only could think for themselves rather, than be occupied by a government who doesn’t care for them. The whole system is flawed, regardless if we followed the “cdc”, if they told you to jump off the roof for a cure of the virus people would do just that. Literal sheep to the slaughter.
