Even though a smartphone has evey high end feature, if it fails to deliver better ear piece quality for calls, then its doomed...
Haven’t had a new iPhone in years and, pathetically, counting down the hours 😂 I don’t mind that it’s no a big change compared to the 12 as I don’t have one so it’ll be a big jump for me anyway!
I got the 12 and usually don’t upgrade until at least 2 years but I’m kinda debating if I just want to upgrade again lol

The 1mm bigger display on the watch seems like a very small change until you consider that the extra mm gives you 15% more display

45 mm is a diagonal measurement. Calculating the number of pixels on the display and then comparing it to the current watches pixel count (not accounting for the rounded corners) the new watch display will be ~15% larger

As much as I would like to have my Apple Watch have a consistent design language with the iPhone/iPad/Macs with their squared edges, I am probably staying on Series 6 until they pack some new technology and sensors into it. Maybe a Series 8 will be a great upgrade.

What are you doing to your watch because I don’t have to charge mine like that. I don’t even have the newest one. I charge it before I sleep for like an hour and before I go to work for 20 minutes (for full charge).

I’m with you; most excited about the camera upgrades. Astro and macro mode very much needed to compete with rivals. Don’t care for portrait video. And finally a matte black option in the pro models! Even though I will be immediately safeguarding my matte black 13 pro max with a product red silicone case 🤔
Currently have an iPhone 12 and I honestly don't feel like upgrading until later 2022, but the iPad mini upgrade would be cool since I had one since 2015.

im thinking of switching to iphone. but, there is some criteria im considering of which is: 1. larger battery capacity - passed 2. bigger screen - passed 3. fast charging hopefully can get to 30watt (12pro max is acceptable) - passed 4. 90 or 120hz refresh rate - curiously waiting for it 5. AOD - curiously waiting for it 6. type c charging port - curiously waiting for it

There is a new Macbook. The Mac Mini 2020 and the Mac Book Air 2020 blow any other computer out of the water, including all other ones from Apple. Even the new M1 iMac is dickless compared to the Mini. And the MBP 16 is as irrelevant as it ever was. So NO, no new Macbook. The MBA is so good, it can frustrate the entire industry for at least 2 more years.

Honestly, I think the reason Apple has put off Always On Display for iPhones is because: 1, they already sell a Watch with Always on 2, Apple would have to limit Always On to OLED iPhones, so they wanted a few more OLED phones in their lineup
Nokia had always-on with LCD like forever. Never was a problem. Would be even easier today.
