Well if you're looking at "new" apple products you'll be disappointed 😅 watch other videos by MKB. Technology is like cutting a piece of cake by 2 or whatever analogy you want. We're at terabyte phones now. Soon it will be 8 terabyte phones and that won't matter. Going from 360 resolution to 720 on phones was a huge improvement. 4k to 8k really didn't mean anything. The full touch screen was crazy but that's a given now. So things really aren't going to change. I buy $300 phones now because they're top of the line 3 years ago. Love my moto. Virtual reality is the new thing to be into.

I'm still using iphone 8 and its just solid. hasn't compromised my daily use at all. Android tends to slow down overtime. So many ppl i know switched from android to iphone and they love it.

I'm holding on to my regular 11 in 128 GB for at least another year. I have 83 percent battery health after almost 2 years at the end of September. All I need is a new battery put in and that's it. The phone still works great.
There will always be a newer and better device around the corner. If you have a X, the difference you will feel with the 13 pro will be significant.

Portless iPhone or a folding iPhone is really the only thing I'd see being a cool innovation for Apple. That and finally going usb C like everyone else. Otherwise, most everything is just "Android did that years ago" like 120hz screens. Hell, the Asus ROG has 144hz now. And a humongous battery, like 6,000mAh! But alas, they arent gonna do anything super exciting for awhile, just some minor upgrades here and there

I agree that it should be called the 12s , but mainly because every time an iPhone gets a major design change, a S iPhone with minimal improvements comes out the next year, so most people were expecting this to happen as the 12 was a major design change. For some reason they broke that tradition they started with the 3G to 3Gs in 2009.

E.g the iPhone X added face ID, something that the iPhone 8 didn't have at all.

Apparently the reason they disabled the 4K 30fps ProRes feature on the 128GB model is because it would fill up to 100GB on a single video that’s 10 minutes long (that is if you were to use all those features at once).
I’m definitely going to upgrade as I have a XS Max with a broken screen so I think I will see a huge difference with the upgrade. Looking forward to it.

My magnetic phone mount for my car works great. I forget what brand it is but I bought it off Amazon and it is a permanent mount for the dash of your car. It uses an adhesive to attach to the dash. I haven’t had any problems with it
I switched to iPhone when the 11 came out. Before that I was on Android and updated every year. My iPhone, hasn't seen slowed down or anything. It's been great. I'm gunna wait for the 14 pro to come out before I upgrade. :) Thanks MKBHD!

seems like every event, they always advertise x hours longer battery life over the previous device. I wonder how many hours it would be if you were to add up all the hours of announced battery life increase from every iPhone announcement ever. Would be interesting to see.
Nah they didnt said it last year, since the 12s battery are slightly worse than the 11s, same thing goes to the iPhone 7/8/SE; 7 Plus/8 Plus so my guess is approximately 5-6 hours in total since the very first iPhone. P/S: the XS only have 30 minutes more usage compare to the X, basically a less than 10% improvement, all this information were collected directly from Apple, dont say that i'm false because some stupid KZheadr have other results, their test are not qualified.
It's not that simple. They're also adding more features. And on tap of that, apps are getting more intensive to take advantage of the better battery life and better chip performance. All of this drains battery life. If the only thing that advanced since the original iPhone was the hardware and certain firmware, and all else halted, then I wouldn't be surprised if phones last well over a day of continuous use these days.

Honestly the most impressive things about the new iPhone is the promotions cell phone companies are running this year. Getting my pro for $300 is a seriously good deal, especially when my Galaxy S10 is already running like absolute junk. Looking forward to seeing what jumping my sinking android ship for the first time in 6 years will be like.

I just watch these cause I want to see people’s reaction to the new iPhone 13... I’m in no way upgrading even tho I’m eligible for an upgrade through my carrier.. I just got the iPhone 12 Pro Max and me upgrading to the 13 would be ridiculous... all that’s really changed is the camera.
