One of the rarest personality types in this system is the INFJ, which is characterized by Introversion, Intuition, Feeling, and Judgement. This type of personality makes up less than 2% of the world’s population and people with this kind of personality are known for their warm empathy, keen insights, and deep insights into human potential. Do you think you might be an INFJ? Watch this video to find out.
Previously, we also made a video on the differences between INFP and INFJ. If you want to check that out, here's the link: • 5 Differences Between ...

    • yes, i'm an INFJ that took the test 2-5 years back :) Love the channel cuz i like thinking about psychology in general. Like how i'm not queer or anything, but i find it interesting to look at things like xenogenders, which are genders that explain the concept of how someone feels about their gender through an example. I feel like taking the test again even though I still relate pretty hard to this video (good job :D).

    • I can guarantee most of you claiming you are a INFJ, probably aren’t one. Most people say they are, only because the feelings in the video are very common. A lot of the things said in the video are known as “Barnum statements” which are statements that apply to most people at some point in life. For example, most people like things to be perfect, but also procrastinate a lot. It is literally a really common feeling people will go through at some point. Also, a lot of the time, people will make things true for themselves, and want to believe what they believe and make that true for themselves. People will subconsciously influence themselves into what they want to believe they are.

    • @@scyllari3544 To be completely honest I wouldn’t fully put all your belief in those tests. Personality tests aren’t really accurate. You can answer the questions 100% truthfully and you know what each question specifically means, but it can still put you in a category which isn’t you. A lot of people here are mistypes, and a lot of the time with those personality tests is a lot of the questions are similar to each other and therefore you think you relate to them all, which therefore doesn’t give an honest answer

    • @@scyllari3544 the fact that you recommended that website 😬😬 the only reason why your results seemed “accurate” is because the questions are vague and all have similar concepts, therefore each question sounds similar and ends up mistyping you with the wrong personality type. A lot of the questions on those personality tests are Barnum statements, which are statements that apply to most people.

    • I'm an INFJ too, and I've always had friends, but like it said in the video, they were more like acquaintances. When I met my two best girl friends and my best guy friend, I suddenly felt so valued, understood and loved. I found out later that he's also an INFJ (which explains how we got along so well as soon as we met) and that my other friend is the "best friend" with INFJs (according to online sources)! • 1. I mostly don’t share in things that other people do or are interested in 2. I missed one piece of homework and I was really stressed for the whole day and I procrastinate SO MUCH. 3. I can always tell what a person is feeling just by looking or talking to them even if they’re trying to hide it. 4. I have a circle of 3 friends and would do anything for them even though some of them don’t really share that. 5. I imagine what people are going through on a daily basis 6. I always think about what’s coming next. I also tend having a hard time letting go of possessions that I associate with my past. I keep several shelves full of these things and just go through them sometimes just to re experience those times. 7. I always feel like I need to help people. One person said to me “I think you help people to avoid helping yourself.” And it hit deep. I just do it without thinking about it. I really relate to this video. I guess I am an INFJ.

We don't do something, at times, because of: the social circumstances, the timing, and the certainty of the outcome.

    • These arent quirky or unique personality traits, these are basic things literally everyone does all the time. They are only stated so that you can feel special. And if you need/ or watch these videos to feel you are unique than everyone else that is exactly what they want and you need to figure out yourself. Dont watch personality trait videos to figure out who you are. For example: everyone in the comments are stating "omg! I am infj!??!? I got 8/8!!" Even though its the ""rarest personality trait"" perfectly proves my point

  • I can actually relate to a lot of these. One - Am I on a different wavelength? Answer - Yes, to the point that my point of view and the evidence is so obscure it takes an explanation for an explanation. Two - Am I a perfectionist/ procrastinate? Answer - Yes. I’m never satisfied with the work I do and keep putting off practicing to keep my life consistent Three - Am I perceptive and good at reading people? Answer - Yes, I usually know how a person would react to ‘X’ situation, although if I already know the person, bias tends to get in the way. Four - Do I tend to keep a small circle of friends? Yes, I’m introverted as heck. Five - Am I deeply empathetic? Yeah, not really with cartoons or anime, but being fiction, it probably doesn’t count. Aside from that, I tend to overly connect with virtually anyone. I remember one person brought up their late best friend, and the supervisor gave some generic sh*t, I’m sorry there’s no better way to put it, and while everyone else agreed with that, unsure of what to do, I felt like the others were being heartless, which I later found was how he felt, too, and I did my best to comfort him in what I call the ‘real’ way, with straight talk from the heart, not sappy speeches from a movie. Six - Can I stand small talk? Truthfully…no. I always feel like when someone brings up something minor, it’s either really obvious, or there might be something that is happening, just happened, or is going to happen, which leafs us to - Seven - Am I future focused? YES. I panic so much about the future, how every decision I make could save or screw me in the long run, how one day I won’t have anyone, and my whole family will all be dead one day - sucks to be the youngest - and how I always feel slightly rushed to make a decision. Eight - Do I gravitate toward people who need help? If you asked me a year ago, I would have said ‘no’, but looking back, I kinda do. Three of my friends suffer with minor depression, my sister is going through some serious regret and vague reverse-trauma, one of my friends suffers emotional instability, depression, breakdowns, and yeah. Crazy part is, under other circumstances our personalities would totally clash, but for some reason, they don’t…? Idk. Do I identify as INFJ? No heckin’ idea. Stats say yes, although I feel like there are some specifics I may have overlooked. That’s me done.

  • I may be this personality type. I feel like an outsider and sometimes even alone with my friends. I feel pressured on my sprinting and homework at school. I want to improve but I’m too ‘lazy’ to. Every time I’ve done something badly, I can’t help but to look at my parents to see how disappointed they could be. They’d always say: ‘if you were doing your best, you could have won’. But the problem is.. I really did do my best. Whenever I do anything, even walking normally around, it feels like my head is going to explode from think too much about what people are thinking about me. I don’t know why but I want to cry when I see people crying. Honestly, this personality makes me lonely and hurt easily: just because I understand people’s feelings, doesn’t mean they can understand mine back.

All my life I have been the recipient of people's confessions, I don't know what vibe I give off that makes people just want to start telling me their stuff. And it literally is everyone I encounter, not just people I know. It makes me good at my job now, and I'm able to disassociate so it isn't a burden anymore, but it really was terribly difficult to handle when I was younger. And yeah...NO ONE fucking reciprocates. • since their is about 7 billion people in the word and 2% of people are infj that means that there are 140 million people who are infj. Since this is a video about infj, people who are infj would most likely watch this video. so it would make sense that the majority of the comment section is infj.

    • @@abiiixoxo6555 I definitely understand that and I respect a degree of skepticism. If I may, I would like to intercede. The video states that the infj type is 2% of the global population. As someone who has designed and conducted psychological studies, albeit in an undergraduate context, I can tell you that psych stats, or even all stats in general, are very ambiguous at times and prone to misrepresentation. That 2% can only be inferred from people who have taken the test. It isn't a hard number but rather a trend. Meaning that of those who haven't taken the test, it could be said with some degree of certainty that only 2% will be infj, however there exists a chance, however small, that maybe all the infjs have been hiding in that group and suddenly the average increases. (BTW in psych stats you can have a maximum of 95% certainty that the stats a representative of reality. You can never state a psychological finding as proving but only supporting a theory) Secondly, at the time of writing this comment, only 4.3k people have commented. Not every single one is stating that they are infj so less than 4.3k people are claiming this. And even if they were, it would make sense that those who relate to the characteristics presented in the video would be the ones to comment. I personally wouldn't make a comment to say "oh... that isn't me". Some might but I would theorize that it is unlikely. Yeah, its possible that some people are lying so that they feel apart of something but what percentage do you think that would be? 2%? 5%? 50%? Consider that and put it into practical details. If you think that half or more people are lying, then that goes a bit beyond skepticism and into cynicism, which is fine if you find supporting evidence. Otherwise, you're categorizing people based on a faulty intuition. I personally abide by the trust but verify method, but like many of us, I dont have the free time to engage with everyone on this thread. Anyway, thanks for your time and im open to hearing any kind of response!

    • I am a INFJ personality as well, and also diagnosed with borderline personality. You’re right, it’s not always fun or nice at all. I find it very distressing. I have attachment issues, need to be loved, have strong emotions, I can feel the pain of others, I have very little close friends, I struggle with relationships and being understood, or understanding others. I often feel like I’m the one who cares more, and that really hurts my feelings, making relationships difficult and often very hurtful for me. I’m always there for people when they need me, but find others avoid me when I want to talk about my feelings or thoughts. I don’t like superficial small talk and often am too intense for other people to be around. I give up on things that don’t feel good, I experience black and white thinking and makes it hard to sustain relationships. I have problem seeing the good in people and in the world sometimes. I will never leave someone’s side when they are in distress, I put all my effort into those I love, often neglected myself. I think about other people all of the time, possibly more than I consider my own self or feelings. It is very difficult and you’re right, being unique isn’t always fun at all.
