The problem with AEW is that it’s full of guys who fly through tables with no storytelling and if you have a guy like Punk who tells stories, the ADD kicks in with these Zoomers and they can’t focus.

The crowd, the color scheme, the commentary, the bell to bell action, this felt like a completely different wrestling company. AEW should definitely keep the two products separate

Yeah the show looked slick and stylish.
Dynamite= white and gold. Collision= black and red.

That stage set is gorgeous. The whole show felt 100% different from Dynamite! Which is what this needed to be.
Absolutely, its tough enough being on a Saturday night, so they need to differentiate it from Dynamite if its going to be worthwhile watching, otherwise its just going to become the Dynamite Light and nobody will tune in.
I loved Collision, but using Collision as a tool to weaponize and put down Dynamite isn't it. Dynamite is awesome, AEW is awesome, and Dynamite planted the seed for a Collision. So you will NEVER see me disrespecting Dynamite.

Each show brings something new and different. 💥💥Collision💥💥 isn't going to take over, but it may show fans a bit of a new look and show. AEW has been great since day one. There's been a few issues but overall the wrestlers have been able to BE THEMSELVES and not some creation from someone else's idiocy. AEW may "evolve" with a new show but the ones that came before it are still just as epic and awesome as ever.

I like this version of Punk. The "Im happy to be here" version of Punk was fun for a moment. But with everything he achieved in AEW and all the news and drama about him since All Out he needed to push back and remind the world what he's all about. And he did. I can't wait to see what's to come next

It reminds me of Raw setwise but it also has the logos everywhere including the old TNT logo that clearly are meant to hearken back to WCW in the early NWO era. So I feel it’s a good combo of both.

Punk, Miro and Andrade all coming back was awesome and great for AEW. Collison felt like a bigger show compared to Dynamite and Rampage. Having Kevin Kelly at the announcers table was a great pick love his ROH and NJPW calls.

The commentary was a huge improvement. It was like night and day compared to Excalibur marking out and Schiavone laughing and contributing nothing. Kevin Kelly doesn't just spend the entire time screaming the names of obscure moves. It felt like a real wrestling broadcast

Punk ripping off the AEW logo on the mic makes a lot more sense now with what we know about how he felt being in AEW at the time
Collision was actually a very good show for its 1st production with an awesome main event. The ring itself gave me a slightly nostalgic, gritty WCW feel. Great art design all over for the show. And, of course, CM Punk came back and dropped a spicy promo with some pointed shots. This showcased what AEW is capable of.
Very strong production. I wondered about the commentators mix early in show but it did actually seem well mic'd.

The Collision arena was freaking jam-packed. Damn! You just love to see it. This aired by 1 AM Nigerian time, but I just had to see this live. And my, was I not disappointed.

To me, this was AEW’s best episode of TV since its inception. The matches were great. The heels were over strong and the story/program made sense. And it all went to hell about a month after this show debuted.

He’s been throwing away the money since he launched AEW. They spent over $100M since the promotion started in 2019 and they still haven’t brought in a real profit. Reminds me of another major wrestling company that ended in the early 2000s.
I was at this show last night. It felt so different than what AEW has been producing for the last few years on Dynamite and thats a good thing. It gives you a genuine option on shows you might want to attend and going in to PPVs it might even show a contrast on which matches are Dynamite and which are Collision

@@abdullahjaber3577 Half of the third tier was empty and the 2 sections on hard cam side were empty. There were still around 8 to 10k people there. It was awesome. Even then you could have less and still have a hot crowd. But if your focus is who is in the seats and not what's happening in the ring why are you buying a ticket anyway?

The whole show was the best AEW tv show from start to finish iv probably (definitely ) ever seen. The commentary, the production, the WRESTLING, no garbage. And this promo was dope. Great stuff
