I thought king Cerberus was the easiest boss in the game. I just found his moves way to similar to Cerberus but you get an entire room space to work with.

@@RagingKarma2 I actually had the most difficult time fighting him outside of Vergil and Urizen's final form. I think it was because while the moves may be the same, the way you should be dodging them had changed and it took me a few tries to figure that out.

This crazy nightclub song works well for how much colour and particle effects are in the boss. It's intense af!
I love this track! It's really dynamic and very cool how each section matches the events on screen in response to changes in the phase of the fight! That bass is so good, it's anxiety inducing in a good way; you have no room to breath here and makes your heart pound in game. Makes a HUGE difference in gameplay, it's great how well the composer understands the psychology of the player and intended feel of the battle to the point where the music directly impacts how you play. I definitely approach this in a much more frantic way than I do when say Crimson Cloud plays. It has such an aggressive and chaotic vibe.
Sorry to say but, lilith's club was better for that imo.

The original Cerberus theme was lightning in a bottle, you couldn't really duplicate it. So taken on its own terms, this theme kicks.
They couldve easily given us a dope remix you can almost taste how good ot wouldve been too when you hear that original tune play

I love bosses that change style throughout the fight. Yakuza 0 did this too with the final boss; Shibusawa.

That "small piece of Gold" gave me PTSD. Fuckin' A, Cerberus reamed my ass back in 3. 14 times in a row, to be precise. He still knocks me senseless every now and then, in fact.
It gave me chills to how much i used Vergil while playing Dmc 3 With his OST playing

actually this theme is good, very dymanic, goes good with the fight, where KC doesn`t give you time to breathe.
It does give a time to breath, only like "getting out of water after you drown and then immediately drown again" level of breath.
He's the exact opposite of his younger tribe mate in dmc3 Cerberus was chained to a wall and had limited movement and in between the start of the fight and enraged phase you have time to recover King Cerberus on the other hand is relentless and isn't just ice he's also fire and lightning and he transitions between his elemental heads and won't give and time to recover and/or breath in between his Fire to lightning phase his lightning to ice phase and his ice to fire phase
you can breathe all you want if you have enemy step...

I don't know why this song is getting so much hate just because it inst a remix of the original. The original was great, but! This song is really unique! Like listen to the transition of each element here: Fire 1:50. Lightning 2:11 Ice: 2:32. I really enjoy this song!
Because a remix of the original would have been amazing and they could pretty much do the same thing for it. Also they should have made a remix of taste of blood to Dante's theme instead of that. They tried pleasing fans in a lot of ways and they succeeded except when we talk about OSTs lol

Actual I like this music in terms of King Cerberus because it's not the same boss , this Cerberus seems more intense to me. It may sound like mindless dubstep to you but to me it shows the intensity of the fight! But that's my opinion! If you don't like it , you don't like but if you do like it, good for you!

The theme for King Cerberus fits him well. The intensity of the fight and the theme fit together well
Alot of people dont know what dubstep really is. They just think its just noise so they associate noise with it Its basically parents back in the old days calling any metal song (Kinda like what Aurgh Meister said) "rocknroll and satananism"
It probably is the most intense music in the game. It feels like you're locked in a cage with a beast that wants nothing more than to eat you alive. One mistake and you're dead. So it fits the fight perfectly!

cant see how everyone is drowning at og cerberus´ theme balls, this is a different boss, with a different personality and a DIFFERENT FIGHT it couldn´t and shouldn´t be the same theme if you want original cerberus, play DMC3

Your heartbeat raises up. Your blood is getting hot. The theme kicks in and you realize that's not you're average boss fight. That's the last elite demon before you fight urizen.
I always remember Cerberus's original theme bass note because its pretty much the essence of it. Not to mention it just kicks ass overall. But just like our beloved old theme, this 3:21 part right here is also very memorable, I always see how my Dante try to brawl with King Cerberus everytime I hear it. Both themes are great, respectively.
So frantic, blistering, aggressive and all over the place just like the fight. Honestly love this theme more than the DMC3 original.
I like for different reasons. Dmc3 is more badass. This is more anxiety filled imo. Dmc3 feels more like yeah lets fight this will be great!! This theme feels more like "I am going to die"/ induces panic

Doesn't matter how good this theme is, the fact that they blue-balled me hard enough that my testicles imploded by baiting a remix of the original theme leaves me mad to this very day. It really is a shame.

What grade did you get on this boss fight?
In 3, it was technically remixed anyway with Beowulf using the exact same song just mixed to be faster and using different instruments

Not something I would listen to normally and might not be as good as other boss themes in the game, but I feel like it really fits how intense the boss and the fight is, I love it in that regard.
