    • I think it’s extremely rare the water is that low and clear. I definitely got out there on the right day! We went back a few days later and hammered some fish but visibility was way down.

    • @@ndyakanglermy bass fishing reservoir is rarely clear. But I was sight fishing a bass from the bank and just like in this video, a second one came up and after a couple seconds hammered it.

    • I haven’t really used scent much, other than giving my bag of wacky worms a squirt. Coincidentally we went back a few days later and threw giant wacky worms there and they worked surprisingly well! I didn’t add scent to the big worms but I’m pretty sure they had some in the pack.

  • Did you see......? Keep a look at the right site of your Kayak at 7min.17. Don´t follow the cast (while you commenting ...crap oh he took a swipe at that jiggy, that is) but keep on looking in the water, you see the pike passing at lightning speed. Real nice.     • I did find a bigger Frabill that I think will work great! The handle slides into the net part when not in use so it doesn’t get in the way.

  • Oh my gosh! I bet it is quite difficult to find such an amazing video in all the internet. Those huge muskies swimming around and watching them approaching the lure…awesome! Certainly an epic and unforgettable fishing day with those three monsters and that first one that escaped. To be honest there was one moment when I greatly feared that you might get one hand pierced by a treble hook if the huge fish in your net began thrashing. Even worse if you lost your balance and fell in that cold water. It might be lethal. Anyway I most remarkable video. Awesome…Congratulations!!!

  • It always amazes me how tame those muskie are once you get them in the net. I'm very accustomed to their smaller cousin, the chain pickerel, doing a lot more flopping and shaking after landing them and while trying to hold them.

  • Epic is right Matt! Great catches and wonderful footage brother. I am ready for some of the same. I live on Decatur Lake on the Sugar River and have a 13.5" fishing Kayak. A lot of Smallmouth and Pike. I caught a couple 19" Walleye last fall. Dnr signs by the launch says there's Musky but my neighbors said they haven't seen any. Good stuff Tight Line's brother

  • Man what an outstanding catch day of really nice big fish. Thanks for sharing. You handle those fish really well in and out of the netting. A little issue with one netting but it just made the video more exciting.
