There's a female singer who has been singing like for several years. This is not a New Style. She's just younger doing the same thing someone else is doing. Postmodern Jukebox is the band.

Haley Reinhart is the only singer who has done Black Hole Sun with PMJ. VERY different treatments of Black Hole Sun. And I am a HUGE Haley Reinhart fan AND a HUGE Carey Bishop fan. Could there be some influence on Casey's style from Haley and many many other great singers? Of course. ALL singers are inspired and influenced by artists who went before them.
