He lived there so, he must have been under their protection surely ? Poor man, may he rest in peace. He should have never entered the Saudi consulate all alone and why did he not apply for this document in America, he lived there, could have gone to the Saudi embassy there ?

When you actually rely on them in the world; whilst critiquing power and being an activist in a way that really matters - to the peril of someone in power. They only mean something when someone wears a silly cape and a cardboard sign on a street corner.

  • And this is Islam’s holiest & greatest country and its model society. Khashoggi was a former Muslim Brotherhood member and his end shows sitting on the edge of Shariah societies, and walking the tightrope life-long, is not such a safe approach; irrespective of how high and mighty your background and family links might make you feel!

  • I dont understand why Saudi Arabia has such a 'special relationship' with the US, well i do its all about money. 15 of the 19 people who did 911 were from Saudi, if they were from Iran something would have done but no, somehow its forgotten about, i find that deeply disturbing. The us government stopped victims families from suing the Saudi government (still on-going i believe).

No freedom of religion, no free speech, no free expression. It's a brutal Islamic regime with Sharia Law.
