"we planted these trees about 17 years ago"😂
I love his sense of humour. I'll bet he made most of that up on the spot, which is actually kinda cool
I actually was going with him when he started with putting a lot of thought into his shots. Should have known better 😊 love him.
Wait so he’s joking the whole time? Lololol
"Golden Sequence." Snort! I love everything that comes out of Taika's brain. Can't wait to see this movie.
Great for Taika that he can still have fun making movies no matter what critical responses he's gotten.
But for how long?!?!
What response has he got? Isn't he lauded?
Yeah, nothing like turning out tripe.
@@oneworldfamilypeople were not as happy with his Thor version
Loved to see some familiar locations on O‘ahu used. Such a wonderful film. Planning to see it again.
I adore Taika and I'm excited to go support this movie at the theater! ❤
He actually filmed the movie after Jojo Rabbit and Ragnorok and before Love and Thunder
The part that made it great was the scripture reading, the emphasis on words and how phrases like, “Lord, have mercy on my son for he is a LUNATIC . . .” dovetailed with the close up of them carrying the coach. It was hilarious.
Taika, you are a masterful genius! People actually do analyze art like this, looking for meaning, seeing a Golden spiral in every composition, it's hilarious.
'Dead serious' is not part of the Waititi vocabulary 😅
thanks taika
Looks like a fun movie to go see.
It was!
Love this guy
No. He hates his audience and ruins movies.
WHEN IS IT STREAMING I need to buy it
Can’t wait for this movie ❤️
Saw the movie on Latam flight to Peru couple weeks ago. Great movie, funny and learn something about the culture.
Polynesian Kiwi here, one of my favourite movies... :-)
I aspire to have this mastery level of on-the-spot bullshitting, truly iconic : >
❤❤❤
ha..ha... awesome movie!!!
Anyone knows the brand of the shirt he's wearing?
Looks like a Kimono suit. The shirt comes with similarly printed pajama-pants.
Looks like a kimono

A little miniature helicopter flown by mice ... 😂
Hahahaha - we planted these trees 17 years ago! Miniature helicopter flown by mice!
The Golden Ratio is universally important and the number 33 is the master number
But only 42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything.
The golden ratio is a myth and had nothing to do with the rule of thirds.
@@Ganiscol 42, 72, 9, 12, but 33 is the great teacher and master of knowledge
Where is Billie?
biggest troll lmfao
Ooooh. It was on purpose. Sure Jan. Lol

What're the odds that this video would pop into my notifications while I was in the middle of watching a video about Taiki's slow decline of his likeness???
Cool Runnings, The Air Up There, The Blind Side. I didn't know anyone was still making white savior sports movies.
Except he literally addresses this at 5:44
You do realize that this is based on a true story?
@@plexxaglass exactly. It's even mentioned in the movie
Looks better than Thor 4 but interesting that it's a movie about the American Samoa soccer team but hardly any of the major roles are played by Samoan Americans, mostly New Zealand/Australian actors.
There's always someone like you who loves to complain 🙄
Oscar Kightly and David Fane are both of Samoan descent tho
Whenever Taika does one of these, I don't seem to learn anything. He is too goofy all the time to take anything he says seriously.
I feel like that's basically his approach to filmmaking lol
Why not use your real last name Cohen?
