    • yes! and maybe thats why Taika enjoy this one so much, compared to his other interviews. Taika was always like, "i know this is a job, but lets enjoy this", and other interview was like "no, i know we should enjoy this, but this is a job, my job.". and hazel just like "alrighty mate! Cheers!"

  • I still can’t believe he went from the 24hr film festival here in NZ to doing a blockbuster so fast just shows with real talent an Oscar nomination can still be a huge launching point especially with a little local funding to help out. I hope our new government increases arts funding so we can create more Taikas

  • I adore this interviewer. She's so relaxed and funny and it really works making Taika comfortable. He's usually so bored with getting the same lame, generic questions over and over. I've rarely seen him so at ease just talking without a script and having a good time. Brilliant interview!

  • I've been watching a buncha interviews with Taika in a roll (just cause I love him) and, I've got to say, this one is the best I've ever seen. You are so genuine and so engaged and casual, it really transpires how much you admire him and, at the same time, it looks like you guys are friends just shooting the shit. Also, I think this is the most laid back, comfortable and "off" I've seen him in an interview (that may have to do with the alcohol a bit) and it was just great. I'm in. Subscribed.

  • I've really fallen in love with Taika over this press tour as he is so talented, self aware and genuinely funny. This is the best interview I've see with him. I mean, I love all the Tipsy Talks because they're an amazing way to do an interview and get the interviewee comfortable. Taika seemed completely in his element here. Loved it.

  • I think what I love most about this interview is, A, How easy it was. It seemed like you two have been friends for years. B, HOW enthusiastic you both are. The look on his face when you said you cried at the scene on the bridge, he looked genuinely so happy by that emotive response. And C, the questions and atmosphere.   • Glad to hear others also had a strong emotional reaction to the bridge scene with the Led Zeppelin song..I didn't exactly cry, but I definitely got teary and got chills through out the whole sequence, almost felt euphoric. I remember telling myself while it was happening "this is why I love the MCU". We need more awesome scenes with even more awesome music like that in the MCU.

  • so i've just come back to this video after roughly 2 years and after discovering more of taika waititi's work and becoming obsessed with everything he does. now i need both of them to teach me everything they know about making films and just life in general honestly. also the amount of chemistry between them was great. they talk like they have been friends for years

  • i related so much when he said that he related to sunspot from the new mutants because he was brown. as a kid growing up with little to no proper representation in any sort of media, hearing him say that struck a cord with me. love this man
