    • Yea true, the male lions aren’t around there cubs a lot in the wild which is why they don’t know how to take care of them. In the zoos you can tell male lions are more patient and actually take care of there cubs because they don’t roam miles away marking territory

    • Not necessarily.. male lions can n will join the pride in the hunt.. coz they know the benefits of their extra muscle in the hunt would surely increase the success rate esp with huge prey like buffalo or elephants. The answer to the debate here is.. Males rarely meet pride esp. while exactly the pride is out to hunt.. very rare.. Males on patrol may make a kill of their own esp. if they are two or more or can reach the pride's kill if they are nearby n can locate the kill area.. I bet u that if they reach the pride before the hunt begins they surely will join, coz lion prides on the whole cannot afford a missed kill and they know it well n there's no compromise or complacency in that regard. Do u really think the lion on principle will just sit back n watch the prey run right past it as the pride chases it, though it can ground the prey with just a blow? "Sorry ladies u missed it narrowly, but I couldn't involve, coz that's Ur business.. lol.."

  • Lioness's have to put up with all sorts of nonsense from their adorable cubs. The cubs bite her tail, practice ambushing mom and generally making a nuisance of themselves but boy are they cute!🦁
