  • It's hard to believe that it's been seven years since we visited Shaye in her original tiny house on wheels. That was our very first tiny house tour! The show has come a long way since then, and so has Shaye's tiny house designs! I hope you enjoy this very special episode! With love, Bryce & Rasa

    • How does finally discontinuing bad decisions and gaining impulse control make you a super woman? Sounds as though she is finally being a functional woman. Calling her a super woman seriously lowers the bar for super and discredits those women who truly are. I give her a 👍🏻 for pulling it together but that’s where I draw the line.

  • I love that she made privacy for her daughter too. One thing I’ve noticed is parents will move into a tiny home with their kid or teen and they have to space to themselves, I think it’s so important for someone growing up to have their own private space

    @artisticevan2358@artisticevan23589 ай бұрын
    • I see that too. They’ll pop out one after another thinking kids don’t want or need privacy because they don’t.However you chose your partner and you chose to surrender that privacy. The kids dont. So either only stick to one or build with the understanding that they will get older.

    • definitely, she is down to earth, a strong mother, a creative personality and a business woman, she doesn't need many clothes or personal belongings because she probably enjoys living in real life, building up memories and enjoying experiences, she spreads out smiles and positive vibes. we only get to live once and we should not obsess about objects but enjoy being happy together with our loved ones. I wish her all the best to find a suitable candidate that will make her and her daughter happy, but they are already the happiest they could be, however, I can see that she would like to have more children and every child is happier having the company of a sibling. I like that she keeps a nice and a decent relationship and friendship with her ex, no hard feelings, moving forward, that her daughter is her universe and she is happy doing what she loves most. she has accomplished a dream life and writing a book would be lovely to share with us about her own journey to happiness😊 lovely home ❤ greetings from the UK !

  • This woman clearly has a realistic view of life and limits a tiny house has. I see so many parents moving into the tiniest houses with kids saying "we will be here untill we retire, we are a close family it will work out" which can be true for a while but kids need privacy too, until a certain point it isnt realistic to share such a tiny space as a family. She gets that and approaches tiny houses in a dynamic way, it has to have the ability to evolve and chance according to your life and circumstances, without having to start from 0. This is gorgeous and I can tell why she was able to make a business out of this, best tiny house I've ever seen.

    • @Shaye Boddington wow! I never thought you'd see my comment! Yes, dynamic is what I thought when I saw you talking about the future and never knowing where it takes you. That's something that doesn't just limit to our personal lives and growth, but also our surroundings and space (which people sadly forget, like you said). Such a pleasure seeing your creations! Cant wait to see what you'll do in the next 10 years. Greetings from Berlin!

Then we came in and watched TV or played board games. Size of house was never an issue. It was the size of the great outdoors that captured our interest. Still does.And yes we were close knit. Still are the ones that are still living. It's all in what you make of what you have.

    • It's my pet peeve when watching home and real estate shows: the parents always assume the kids want to spend every waking moment in their company. Thus their insistence on wasteful McMansions with five bedrooms, five baths, and mega-kitchens. All of which will be empty and lonely in just a few years when the kids retreat to their rooms until moving out. Love Shaye's thoughtful approach.

Then again she also might just be implying more space for someone else or herself. • Shaye is a true entrepreneur, a talented hardworking woman with a great sense of syle. The practicalities of this build are amazing, the way the kitchen is built to allow walking space in the bedroom above is superb. The hallway between the rooms upstairs is sensible, using one set of stairs is practical. Shaye has used fabulous timbers in her build too, adding to the overall beauty. Having a large deck with the covered roof, part of it insulated with plants is gorgeous. Shaye is a definite star in the tiny house design movement. Thank you Bryce and Rasa for filming this update.

    • Frankly, I was appalled that, despite the avowed focus on future-proofing, it was confined to her own comforts, whereas the daughter, age 5, got only a few inches of headroom in her own bedroom, since the bathroom, below it, if I recall correctly, got a fairly high ceiling, of course benefiting the mother, not the daughter. Otherwise, I was vexed that the mother kept putting _little_ in front of the girl's name, as if the mother delights herself by infantalizing the girl. Paradoxically, though, I was relieved that she called the girl "monkey", revealing that I wasn't the only child who suffered this chronic dehumanization from female caretakers.

  • I love her home. No matter how many videos I have seen, I always come back to she's tiny home. There only 2 other homes rat I really love. One is a retired couple theirs is blue he us a carpenter and added these clever hiding spots in his bathroom. I believe it was a 40 tiny home. Just grand. And one I just saw this morning on Jens channel. It reminds me of Tuscuny, wood arches and 2 bathroom yes I said 2 bathroom. That is the 3 rd one I love. How ever she's home is the one that got me started in wanting a tiny home, even an rv would make me happy. Shea story of her life is amazing. Her way of getting healthy and doing things that make her feel great and making sure she has a wonderful home for her and hazel. She is a super mom. Starting a business in building tiny homes. That in itself is rough. Finding the right team of talented employees who are very good at what they do and loyal, responsible and mature and fun to be around and trustworthy. That I belive would be the hardest part of building a business. Them her health and then diving again. She truly is amazing. Hazel has a great role model as well. Cutest family to. Shea do not put any one on the deed to this home but your daughter, don't let a shady guy take this away from you through marriage or Bo marriage. Protect what is yours. People can get super jealous and try to bring you down, stay away from those negative people. Again love your home. Love bryces channel .

  • This is the most beautiful tiny house I've ever seen so far. She really did a great job with the design and functionality of all the elements of a great tiny house.

  • For a tiny house, the way it was designed looks so spacious like a mansion. Also love the plants

    • She absolutely made it perfect, people don’t feel they’re in a tiny space, she’s got the mind tricks down and the style to go with it. I love it!

  • This is the first tiny house that has not made me feel claustrophobic! You feel like you can breath in and exhale full relaxation and relief. The whole living environment is so refreshing.

    • I like that the mirror is on the wall and not on the roof. I once stayed in an Airbnb that had a mirror directly above on the ceiling and its a touch disconcerting seeing yourself laying in bed. XD

    • @@livingbig The instinctive pan over to your reaction reminded me that your better half is also key to the Quality of these tiny home tours. I work in TV so appreciate her work as much as yours. The way you both centre your focus on people's journeys in life as much as stair pitch and closet space is inspiring so thank you both!
