I am English and I don’t know if that even really mattered anyway. Anyway getting to the point. These knifes are made absolutely terrible they do not keep them moist continuously I even saw smoke from it at whilst lathe machine milling. Also they do not fold the steel, they just use old used springs and bend/stretch them into shape. Then mill them. Wow that is terrible 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Вау учитывая что он всё сделал почти своими руками и не разу не ранил себя очень по мастерски сделанная работа

It's not really forging at all though. What he did was some amazingly beautiful stock removal. Forging requires heat and pressure which he only used to straighten his material.
To viewers from the future, this is what people in quarantine are watching.

Outstanding work of art.
That’s a real machinist right there
when he shaped it into a triangle, i was saying to myself, this is wrong it should be spiral-ish. When he reheated, i realized what he's going to do. this great. mad props to you sir!
At first when I saw the thumbnail on my feed I was like "How the heck is he going to make that knife out of a car spring?" Holy cow was I impressed! That has to be the coolest knife ever. And I feel sorry for anyone that gets stabbed yikes!
If someone gets stabbed it’s almost if not 100% chance of death because the wound cannot be closed So these style of knives are banned by the Geneva convention
Great job you make a amazing knife

Dịch: Tuyệt vời bạn của tôi! Đây là một kiệt tác. Lời chúc mừng từ Việt Nam.
Fun fact: a blood groove is actually called a fuller, it has been said to be to push metal outwards during the forging process, said fuller was not intentionally designed for draining blood but is definitely a unintended but prefectly fine use
I thought it was to lighten the blade
@@primadeluxe4910 Lighten the blade and help it's flexibility as I heard. Helping air and blood get out of the body is a myth and not what the fuller is designed for.
a fuller was to use *less steel* in a knife's construction. it has the benefit of serving to strengthen a knife, as well as preventing gas locking when stabbing, but the primary reason for its existence was to waste less expensive and hard-to-produce steel
Completely false . From start to finish everything you said is 100% false. A fuller is made to lighten a blade by removing material in a way that has the less impact on structural integrity.
Many blades are also shaped in a triangle, they are stiffer and were commonly used against armoured opponents
A wonderful job. Congratulations
Awesome work! Great!👍😁⚒️🛠️
Your machining/milling skills are amazing
Lol what
Amazing job i did never seen this type of Knife in my life 😱
The twisted blade allows maximum damage and massive amounts of blood loss. A combat knife when you want your target to die, and die slowly.
Jagdkomando is one of kind most deadly Dagger or tactical knife in the worlds, maximum damage+penetration, fast loss blood target, Very Dangerous 👍👍👍 Awesome
And very illegal, unsurprisingly
BEAUTIFUL !!
That one is way nicer than the one I bought on eBay!!! BADASS!!!

One day i'll be forging like you. I'll forge game and anime weapons; all that came up in my mind i'll forge someday
Give that man a BELLS! True master!!!
Good job, buddy! The only thing I would change is the way the dagger goes in its sheath, I'd cut a thread on it, so it stays there nice and secure! Cheers!
So like, you have unscrew the knife everytime you want to use it? And screw it back in when you're done with it? Forgive the assumption as to what your meaning is, but that is an incredible design flaw, not to mention the fact that it's a combat knife (one that's so deadly and cruel in fact, that all militaries under the Geneva convention can't even use it). Which I add, are specifically designed for emergency CQE's and consequently accessibility and efficiency.
Good work. I was surprised you had no Anvil table. I built mine from 6x6xs and strong tie nuts and bolts and it’s not moving once I get moved and mount it down in my new workshop. You also need a good strong Heavy table with a vise. You did an excellent job on this piece without it all, and I need to get a lathe myself.
Absolutely awesome...👌👌
That is amazingly made
Impresionante trabajo, mis más sinceras felicitaciones !! 👍👏👏👏

Kindly do these kinda unique things.! 🔥
That is a brutal weapon. The multiple finishes you achieved is amazing. The amount of editing and filming must have been a patience testing process. Kick ass job!!
Looks good but not a practical weapon actually that's why no military ever use anything like this
@@boomerhgt Actually a lot of militaries around the world ceased use after they were banned in the Geneva convention. The reason for their banning was actually the incredible effectiveness of the weapon. It left massive internal damage that, due to its unique shape, was unable to be treated through traditional methods such as suture.
@@papyrus2998 That is a modern myth, old bayonets were tiangular because of the stiffness, it makes it better for thrusting. The triangular wound is not harder to treat than a regular knife wound. There are accounts from doctors about this from the civil war era in the USA. There exist a couple of videos here on youtube debunking this myth.
@@papyrus2998 It was The Hague conventions of 1899 and 1907 that defined the rules of modern war. The Geneva convention specifically addressed combatants and the treatment of prisoners of war and civilians.
@@marcuss95 Incorrect for the wrong reasons. The Hague convention, not the later Geneva convention, set the rules for modern war in 1899 and again in 1907. Specifically banned were “dum-dum” bullets, as expanding bullets were called at that time, explosive bullets under 13mm and other weapons “intended to inflict overly painful and grievous wounds”. No specific mention was made of bayonets, but the intent was to ban the cruciform and triangular bayonet common in the 19th century in favor of a single edged bayonet, without being specific. Wounds from such weapons were very hard to treat in that time and caused slow and painful death by infection. Virtually all nations complied except for France who retained the cruciform bayonet on older rifles. By 1914 war was on. Germany had a “pioneer bayonet” issued to about 20-30% of its troops that had a blade on one side and a saw on the back. Intended to cut limbs, but see by those who might be stuck with it as cruel and unusual. The Germans saw the French cruciform and the American trench shotgun firing nine pellets of buckshot in a similar light. Protests were formally filed with the international court. Since The Hague had been overrun by Germany the international court was moved to Geneva. Progress was slow, as such things are. Germany announced that any American soldier captured with a shotgun would be shot. The British and American troops tended to use the saw backed german bayonet on its owner when captured. All this in a war where poision gas and everything else was on the table. Nevertheless military order must prevail. America, England and Germany were in direct negotiations to restrict the shotgun, the sawbacked bayonet and a few other odd weapons. Final agreement was near when the war ended for all effect in November 1918. While never formalized the agreement was put into effect as far as the bayonet was concerned. The shotgun was just too good to put up. The Germans ditched the saw back bayonet, the Americans the bolo and trowel bayonets, the English modified the cruciform bayonet on the proto type No4 Lee-Enfield to a spike. The French, not a party to the agreement gave up the old cruciform bayonet as well, just to get along. So. Your right. It’s not in the Geneva convention or any international law. It’s simply an artefact of a “gentleman’s” agreement forged in a time of war but never ratified as a formal rule. Such were the good old days.
Very good... Very nice... ,,👏👏👏
Thats beautiful.

i watched so much restoration video that i know how to forge myself lol
Would not want to get poked with that. Very nice job, always wondered how those were made.
Many great skills, well done. Shame the hardening seems to have failed. After quenching there is no way your file should cut the steel if its done properly
Everyone is a fucking expert.
@@dennishanton3181 not everyone, but some of us make knives for a living
@@buzzmeister1983 so don't inmates.
Could be a significant decarb layer though.
@@dennishanton3181 Well, watching and learning comes hand and hand, I know I've learned a lot watching Forged in Fire and numerous KZheadrs forging blades. @buzzmeister1983 is correct. There was no nice "ting" noise when the file scrapped across the blade - it should skate across a hardened blade. I could tell the blade was not hot enough before quenching. Hardening the entire blade would have been risky though with those ported holes on all three sides. This was probably intentional to under harden the blade for that reason.
holy crap, the result is Goddess
Wow it really is a masterpiece.
Amazing work, that must have taken some amazing knowledge of what tool can do what job and a lot of expertise to figure out just HOW to make such a complex shape using common machine tools! Also, don't literally sell yourself short, that is longer than a mere knife, you have made the world's first Jagdcommando shortsword!
