Yeah, all of them made laws to reduce plastic usage. For example, Turkiye made the plastic bags must be bought to use in markets; which reduced plastic bag usage by %90.

I can definitely relate to this video as I used to buy scrap plastics from US recyclers to sell them to China. That pretty much ground to a halt in 2016-2017. Other companies tried to sell the plastics to other countries (Vietnam, Thailand, India) and now those countries are not accepting that for the reasons described in this video.
Most plastic sent to recycling facilities can’t be recycled. I forget the precise number but a low percentage is actually able to be recycled the rest just pollutes the air and ground.
