  • Very interesting to see the bts of how Starfall came to fruition. From creating the builds to each destination, to making over 30 colour designs for the Atlas, the amount of ideas, assets and processes that were undertaken to shape Starfall is incredible. As an aspiring animator, seeing how a project like this comes to life is extremely valuable and insightful, just goes to show how much time was spent and the passion Sam and the team had in creating it. Like others, I too really hope Starfall continues to see where it goes next (both as a story and from a production standpoint). Just received the poster yesterday, super keen to frame it (amazing btw!) and to drink some tea on a Chip coaster! Once again, thanks again to Sam and the team for creating Starfall and for showing to us how something like this comes to life!

  • Thank you for this!! Would love to see more of this in the future, especially with animating the complex actions sequences and intricate camera work. That part tends to be left out in a lot of "making a Minecraft animation" videos. Such a shame

  • I'm so proud of my nephew, who designed the spacecraft in this movie. His credit name is Skallord. He's been designing spacecraft since age 11. I have a photo of a design he did at age 11, freehand, the length of the living room coffee table, perfect circles and lines, details of each component and how they work. He is amazing! Thank you for sharing how this movie was made!

  • I really loved your Starfall animation, you can really tell there was a lot of work put into it. I do have a question on how it came together and everything if you are willing on answering it = All in all how much did this cost? I was wondering because you said that you would need to be financially ready to do another one (if there is another one (I really hope there is another one 🥺). Thanks for making these Minecraft animations of us, I think I'm speaking for everyone when I say that these really lighten our mood. =)

  • First, I would LOVE to see a continuation/sequel. Second, am I the only one who wants a 2d animated series that doesn't use the Minecraft aesthetic at all and uses the concept art images for the characters? Seriously, those concept arts are awesome and convey way more than the Minecraft models ever could. Third, this animation was awesome, and I really want to see more like it. I love the voice acting, and this is the most epic thing you guys have done since Songs of War.

  • How do you make your characters so smooth and clean? Whenever I render my animations, it always ends up looking pretty grainy. Is it the rig you use, some changes to the render settings, an addon, or something else? How can I set my characters up to look like what you have? Also, when I render, it creates tons of white pixels on top of the blocks. Is there any way to fix these things? Thank you!

  • So in my opinion, Starfall production started 1 year after SoW was canceled. I was going to ask:"but why?" But then I forgot that series was really underrated, right now being in the top 3 of BPS popular movies. Man, I am still hoping for SoW to return even if it won't be possible. None of the youtube fan made videos of sow are as good as BPS's ones Edit :"If the Fallen Kingdom returned after 4-6 years of no production, so can SoW!" Interestingly enough that he used the agrresium song renders for some Starfall shotsh

  • Seeing the concept art and the rigs behind the more complex objects like the mech. I'm surprised they haven't tried to do an animation project that isn't minecraft themed but rather an original style. Just look at the concept art for the characters. They have a clear style going on which later needs to be downgraded to a 64x64 pixel skin and blocky model. I know this channel is mainly focused on mc stuff but I feel it'd be a nice thing to try out, perhaps in a second channel, see how it works out.

    • @@Alys._. it just won’t happen, I’m sorry. Samuel kyber (director of this) left the bps community because of personal reasons so yup, there will be no second part. Another thing about this is that it is one of the biggest productions I’ve seen, with voice and all. That costs a night budget but in the end this gets only 1m views. Samuel probably lost a lot of money with this.
