I swear the animations just keep getting better and better! I loved the small details like the wind rushing against the dragon's wings while it was flying, the effects of them using terrain in the battle? And obviously the action scenes and expressions were god tier. Watching Steve struggle to fight against the chains in order to save Alex was such a good scene, you could truly feel the pain and fear he felt by the expressions. Keep up the great work, and take all the time you guys need for the next season, no rush at all! I can't wait to see it because YES THE AETHER

I feel as though I missed something significant, either the illagers set aside their differences or just a faction of them became friendly, either way, they truly show their humanity and I'm loving it! These 'silent' Minecraft films have been growing on me over time! 😁

If I may give some feedback: The story and the animation overall was spectacular, but I felt that some fight scenes (especially the one on the blimp after steve breaks free) were a bit too fast and overwhelming in my opinion. I do understand that it gives the (correct) feeling that the characters involved were powerful, just wanted to share something that might make the animations even more epic (if that was possible :) )

Holy smokes the animation kills! I love how far this story has grown, and I look forward to more in the future. A minor.. issue though, about the combat, I felt like it was way too fast and I had trouble keeping up with how the fights were going. I am absolutely in love with the combat scenes, but this one felt a little too.. fast. I hope this issue is resolved soon, and we love your content!

Two things: 1. The fact that all those characters that now form the "party" Alex is in have been introduced in animations that were directed a long time ago shows how well you guys thought before choosing your new direction. 2. You added the aether dimension. Mojang didn't. Proof you're superior.

I’m rewatching this video and it’s still to hyped! I really hope we see a result to this cliffhanger! If there will be a new series, I’m very exited to see the iceologers new and improved fighting skills, like controlling his ice and being able to throw it at enemies or even cooler things! I am definitely going to pray for a season 2 or just a new video.

I have a theory: Has anyone ever noticed that whenever Steve turns into Herobrine or becomes aggressive, it’s always whenever Alex’s life is in danger. In Nether War, Steve was seen to be showing mercy towards Eric by going easy on him. But when Eric got close to burning Alex alive, true he didn’t transform into Herobrine at that moment, but he still went absolutely berserk and tried to beat the crap out of him! Just to protect Alex! Then in Herobrine Returns, the Baroness destroys his home, kills his horse, does *something* to his dog (it’s not clear if the dog is dead or not) and then proceeds to knock him out. He doesn’t lash out, he doesn’t transform yet and he doesn’t even try to fight back. But when Alex is slashed across the stomach and is about to get stabbed, Steve transforms into Herobrine and strikes a lightening bolt onto her. Again, to protect Alex. After that he faces countless losses and casualties thanks to the Baroness and we don’t see him go Herobrine for a while (save for Take Back the End where he learns to kind of control his power). But that all changes here. When Alex is getting the crap beaten out of her by the Aether Angel guards, all Steve can do is hopelessly watch without being able to save her due to being chained up. That is, until Alex is about to be killed. He breaks out of the chains and goes all Herobrine on their butts! Again, it always seems like Steve only goes berserk or transforms to protect Alex. So my theory is that Alex is the only thing able to keep Steve’s dark side in check. Without her by his side, Steve would become Herobrine probably for good and rain down heck fire on everyone! And what’s scary is that once the Baroness realizes this, she might have her soldiers try to kill Alex and force Steve to watch unable to do anything about it. And if they succeed, then Steve’s spirit will finally break and Herobrine will be there to stay. He’ll likely kill the Baroness and everyone in the Aether too out of vengeance. After all, nothing is scarier than a man who has nothing to lose. But what do you guys think? Keep in mind that I’m not saying that this will happen. This is simply a theory made for fun and speculation and I’d like to hear what you all think! (This took me forever to type 🥲)

It’s a decent theory but remember. Alex and Steve are characters that this channel has been going through for a while. Like the doctor who series. I’ve noticed that these type of animations are the main thing keeping this channel alive AT ALL. So I think they just decided to save Alex last minute because 1, they wouldn’t dare kill her off fir the sake of their popularity and 2, they would probably want to continue this series for a good long time. I don’t think nether war and this ties together, he just was saving his friend. This is no offence to your theory. It’s pretty cool Ngl, maybe losing so much behond the level could turn him to herobrine. Possibly it could turn out that the baroness captured his wolf and will kill him next episode
My dude... this theory right here 🏆🏆🏆🏆 I agree with you; I think Alex and Steve's relationship is so great that they'd do anything for each other; we have seen countless times where Alex was about to die and Steve went all bonkers, whether in his form or Herobrine's form. I really do think Alex is key in this series more than people realize.

Well, 1. We don’t know for sure if they did ANYTHING to the dog. All we see is it run away. 2. Seeing how persuasive the baroness can be and how she seems to have moods (in Herobrine returns we see calm, negotiative, Pillager episode I forgot the name of, we see sorrow and grief. At the beginning of this one we see pride and for some split second surprise/fear) she could negotiate with Herobrine/Steve to be on her side, and not kill everyone there. We’ve seen how she can survive lightning unlike the others and that means she would have time to negotiate. Wow, I disagreed with your theory 2 months ago and now I’m literally theorizing along with it!

Positivity: This animation was brilliant in every way, primarily the fight scenes. Zilleyon is an absolute beast when it comes down to fight scenes. Fast-paced fight scenes are one of my favorite things in animation, and he did so excellently, especially during the fight scene with Alex and Steve vs the primary antagonist. Even back when Songs of War was still going on, the final fight scene between the Tidesinger and the Deathsinger is personally my favorite animation of all time, and the fight scenes within these are within the top three. You will always keep improving, and I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeves next. Criticism: Ultimately, there are only two downsides. The first is the way the emotions were expressed. It seemed ever so slightly wonky, in a way to where I wouldn't consider it bad, (I'd even say its good even) but I wouldn't call it fantastic either. I think David's way of portraying emotion was best, with subtlety. I think the emotions would hit more if most of them were subtle but only the climactic parts were expressed heavily. In 12:09 this was done reasonably well, giving a sense of determination without exceeding a threshold that would be considered too much. This criticism though didn't effect the animation's quality, because honestly I wouldn't care that much when it came down to it. *I only care because I want to give you feedback that is more useful than "amazing animation".* The second downside is lighting. The vast majority of the scenes have realistic and good lighting, but occasionally you see some lighting that seems to have been very minimally modified from what would be the layout part of the animation. The animations were good enough and the "bad" lighting parts were so short that this part is completely overshadowed. Skimming over the animation, I didn't notice the parts I was referring to, but you might be able to spot them if you pay close enough attention. Overall: Overall, awesome animation. It's more than what I was expecting, but I didn't expect anything bad either. I noticed that lots of animations are directed by different people, and that can be noticed in the animation's style. Some of them give me nostalgia, with the relatively slow and minimal fight scenes, while others remind me of the finale of SOW (Songs of War), with quick and fast-paced fight scenes. Please like this comment so that the Black Plasma Studios team can see this.
So far, Alex is around. Steve won't beat anyone. We saw how angry he got when he almost lost her. And what he was like without her. Ruled the whole world.

The beginning of the fight on the ship was beautiful, I loved it! There were so many things that I loved, I'd have to write the animation out to describe it I think the studio knows by now that we all love Derp The fight scenes were epic, especially with Steve, Alex, the winged guy and the Nether Archangel Not to mention we get to explore the Aether now! Huzzah!!
