BPS is already legendary at making films without speech, so when a voiceover movie comes around, they are truly a gem to be treasured, awesome work!

@@coluftonmcgerbergerber3116 well yea that's cus you expect it not to. Songs of War was very similar in that. However they introduced the voice acting immediately and it was a constant, this starts of without it and instead at first feels very similar to worlds apart, of course, implying there would not be voice acting. And then they just randomly drop it in. I think if they had a SoW style prologue telling us at least a bit of lore of the current situation of the world...
This was astounding! The air fight was perfect, Chip is the cutest droid in Minecraft, and as always everyone delivered 1000/10 content! That ending too. Thank you everyone.

No words can describe my awe and admiration for the whole team. The story reminded me of Worlds Apart, which has a special place in my heart... but this is on a whole new level. I am more then excited to see a continuation of Starfall (if there will be one)!

As the go-to minecraft animation content of my childhood from 6-8 years ago, I could not be more pleased to see this and songs of war come to light as I've grown. I've always loved you guys and I was there from pretty much the beginning of the minecraft animations back when you all were a small group of guys putting effort into your passion. It has come a long way and I'm happy to see you all come so far as a studio.

I love this. The animations and spaceship design, the low gravity in the opening scenes the escape pod eject at the end (holy cow that was slick), was just, 10/10. It absolutely needs a sequel

This was awesome. I've seen shows with probably ten times the budget yet barely have a quarter of the characterisation and plot of this animation. I hope we have a part two and more as this deserves it.
I don't know, but this looks like something that's connected to the arcadian rift lore. What I do know is that, every word I say will only undervalue the accomplishment the animators and crew have achieved with this. Hope we get to see episode 2 soon!

This. Was. AMAZING. The portal mechanics was absolutely incredible, I've never seen anything like it before, I literally had to say "wow" out loud. I love Keira's powers, I love the characters, the story, the design, it's all so amazing, and so is everyone who worked on it. The last few minutes had me internally screaming, please you have to make this into a series!!
I hope this becomes a series and that it can be completed in the future, the animation quality looks amazing and the story is epic :) P.S Chip is so cute!! 💖

32:15. I like the detail of the ships burning as they enter the atmosphere. Most movies don't include that (that I've seen at least). Also that was an great cliff hanger at the end! I suspected something was up with Kiera but did not expect her to do that! Please make a sequel!
I didn't suspect a thing ): but the leading up to that point was... concerning to me that ending was great! I can't tell if Kiera is showing remorse or not. She probably has some hint of guilt, from possibly slaying Owen.

@@cinny. She did seem uncomfortable at the end. Her face when from pride to concern. Even in the ship, she was nervous when it came to betraying him. Honestly I feel like she's gonna have a redemption arc. She doesn't seem like she would truly do such a thing tbh, considering she's showing some emotion. The commander of the Striders though... He seems to be very... Uncaring of his personnel. He will definitely do something insane. It's also shown that the Striders are just full on conquerors who don't care for managing the places they inhabit. Compare the Arcturan Union to the Striders. The striders are like gladiators, while the Arcturans appear to be more stable and advanced.
This is awesome! It was a lot of fun getting to help with the ships, and seeing them fully rendered in an animation is definitely a highlight of my time as a builder. Looking forward to whatever's next for you and the channel!

@Akai Kiseki I did three of the four big capital ships. The two Cymari ships, those are the black ones with blue glowing highlights, and the main Arcturan battleship, which you see outside the asteroid space station and around the flagship over their homeworld. Some of my older builds were also used as background ships. A lot of the ships flying around the space station are mine, and I think a satellite I built is in the asteroid field at the very beginning.

i don't know why, but this has GOT to be my favorite animation, as of recent. I'm loving the dynamic between the characters, the voice acting, the storytelling. And of course, the animation. those fight scenes. DEEE-LICIOUS. like, omg, The way Kira *moves* and just how the motions flow together of them during that scene are FLAWLESS. Great job BPM, I really hope that you guys can continue to make AMAZING projects like these.

I'm impressed. I never thought i'd ever see an animation again, that's not a discgrace to Songs of War's legacy. Even though i will never get over the cancellation, i will watch Starfall's career with great interest!

This definitely one of my newest favourite sci-fi film. The writing of the ending just made my jaw drop and opening scene was nice enjoyable. The interruptions between Owen and Kierra was interesting the hints of the past together and keep it up guys you’re doing amazing job👍

Wow. I never thought I'd see a good quality Minecraft Sci-Fi story (besides "Torn Apart" animation), but here it is! And the plot twist! It was... Rather heartbreaking...
Noticed this fiction didn’t get the same views as the Alex and Steve videos, but don’t be deterred, these unique sci-fi is what makes the channel great. I loved Songs of War and Worlds Inbetween, they exceeded many multimillion dollar movies.
I think it’s dead because loads of alex and Steve videos were released right after this. The thing is that the subscribers have been attracted to alex and Steve that they ignored this and missed out big time.

The video really didn't get a whole lot of attention, which is sad; a full, voiced *movie* can't even compare in views to some episodes of Alex & Steve. This is truly sad.

This was my favorite out of all of your animations so far, and I love that you guys also did voices in this animation, because it really gives it that extra realistic touch. The space/Sci-Fi theme is awesome, and that's probably why I also love your other animation "Worlds Apart". I think it would be ABSOLUTELY AWSOME if you guys would make this into a series, because this story needs to be continued. Your animation are always the best, and the effects and everything are awesome. I wish I could get myself to put something like this together, because it is outstanding!!! Keep up the great work! ❤

2 thoughts. The insubordinate strider has a sword almost exactly like those for worlds apart(which is one of my favorites). And I loved the design that to save parts Owen built the upgrades so he can easily switch between a pistol, semi-auto and sniper rifle
I absolutely loved the "Doom" styled music! It made the action scenes seemed more epic! Loved the cinematics, the buildings and concepts! Great job guys!

This could easily make it into a series, or a larger movie made of parts (like Songs of War) Like, if BPS would split the large work into episodes over time, it would be easier for them and we can wait. I think a lot of people would prefer less frequent, but longer and in a series, over more frequent random short videos

I could actually tell, the person through the comms at the end of starfall acted as kiyoshi. Kiera’s voice actor on a guess sounds a lot like val. but she was in season 2 of sow that was cancelled, but you’ll hear her in the fanmade creations.

Ooooh, that was amazing. From the wider worldbuilding of the different factions at play down to the little details like Owen's modular gun and the sprinkling of Arcadian Rift inspirations, I love it. The story's solid, the set pieces grand and the score is suitably epic. A personal highlight for me, however, is and always will be the fight scenes. I just love me some well done choreography (which I find to be awfully rare these days) and I hope Zilleyon had as much of an absolute blast making these as they were to watch. I would definitely love to see more of this story play out and find out more about the inner workings of this conflict.

It’s amazing that the movie was space themed! I love the fact that this movie is lore filled! Also something that I don’t think anyone else pointed out, but I believe that this could lead to a Worlds Apart 2, because in some of the scenes where you see Owen and Kierra talking to the leader strider, you see the guy from worlds apart that got his arm cut off. I can’t wait ‘till BPS makes their next animation! I also like that Owen is the actor for Igneous from SOW, because we only saw him for a short time during the movie.
The music was top quality. That final piece when Ryder watches as the debris hits the city gave me serious Dune Part 1 vibes. Hope you make a follow up to this. Top notch animation.

Jesus Christ I did not expect that ending at all, very good writing and animation in general. I hope there will eventually be a part 2 and maybe 3 so we can get a deeper dive into the world lore and the story between Kiera and Owen - especially Kiera's "powers". Very awesome all around

@@lexgamerafton not necessarily. Alot of war/space/dystopia based stories have endings when the main hero is killed. Divergent Series, Rogue One, 1917, The 300, a draft/alternate finale for Edge of Tomorrow, Bond movies, Avengers Endgame, hell even shows like Breaking Bad do it too. As for defeat, look at Infinity War, at Loki etc. Depending on how you grow the story, sometimes the only logical path is to kill off the protagonist... aka 'kill your babies', else let them lose. In short: Sometimes a character and stories greatest moment lies within death. When you branch out into more movies, you'll see that. Edit¹: Movie correction.

When Kira was quiet for the last section, and she was only in the background, I knew that she betrayed him. It was honestly sad, but I'm really hoping a part 2 is coming.
This was an epic animation! Loved Chip the droid. Kinda reminded me of BD-1 from Jedi: Fallen Order. At 30:22 I was like: "Oh no, it's the Star Wars rhydonium-filled venator trick all over again." But then, at 30:46-I'm about to end this guy's whole career. Hoping this becomes a series.

This is absolutely amazing. Well, song of war is just undefeatable, but this movie is great, like really. I feel like I have seen some short animation, where nothing happend, but also happend everything. It acually pulled me into the movie so much, that I just stayed paralyzed for a minutes. I think this one has some sort of mixed reactions coming from me. First of all, with good storytelling and visuals it had the potential to become a great series with that said I'd like to put forward some concerns that I have here, so first of all and my major concern is that sometimes you tried to make a serious situation and turns it into a funny and gag moments which takes away the audience sense of "Hey I should take this thing seriously" it's the same problem that I noticed with SoW, while it's not wrong to make a joke to take themselves out of the situation. It should, however, be noted that there are moments that are good for that but sometimes you gotta let the reality set in and like spending some time with them for them to know your character better. Like I expect that after this whole fiasco with her betrayal and such there better be sometimes to set in and let the audience set in with those characters. Another issue with the build-up on the Arcturan’s War with the other faction is that there is no crucial information dropped on why that scene in the hanger is so crucial in the final scene (assuming they are the same faction) like there's no build-up if like the guard mention something about the bomb that is used in the ending it could be a good set up but hey I'm just throwing ideas here. The Second issues, sounds, and music, now I understand that this is supposed to be a pilot and that you're not supposed to spend a lot of money on this thing but I think that there are a lot of moments that throw me off, like for example, The moment where he landed on the planet to recruit more people. It didn't sell the part where this was a town or a sense of community. The lack of sound in the background is somewhat off to me. Then the music in this video is too loud and often clashes with the Blaster firing sound making it hard to differentiate the two when put together. I was going to critique more but a lot of these are like a pilot and not a lot of money is spent on this thing yet so I'm going to let that slide. I hoped that my advice or at least this message gets to you and I want to say that this series has potential I just point out a few flaws that are needed to be corrected, I just don't want to see this turn into a flop like SoW. I hoped that this series becomes successful and I hoped that you find this useful.
What a great animation, I like how they used some old SOW animations, hopefully this will be as great as a series as songs of war.👍
To me, this video explores the concept of "What if Star Citizen was Minecraft?" This has to be one of my favorite works of yours, just below Songs of War. Keep up the good work!

The idea of changing the module of Owen's weapon to serve as multi function weapon is just top notch... Of course it is High tech.. Because of the plasma core !!

This is truly amazing. I did not see that twist at the end. I would love to see the story continue. Also I'd really like to see more songs of war. It's my favourite series on KZhead and it ashame it ended.

Nice to see Sam, David and Dan work on an absolute Banger and also great to see Jackson Trent back as well. This was epic StarFall is the best animation I’ve seen on BPS since Songs Of War. Edit: I really really hope there’s more but I won’t get my hopes too raised up.

One thing, however, is that I found the scene after Owen said: “there’s our window!” Anticlimactic, and I think that anyone could agree that we all were hoping to see the Atlas jump to hyperspace. Something else I like about the movie, by the way, is all the starwars references. These are: the hyperspace ring, laser guns, space ships, droids, and more.
This is a really cool concept. The effects are amazing as always, the creations are astounding, the world building is excellent, and the characters are fun and mysterious. I love everything about this so far. The only thing I didn't like that much was just the beginning when Owen was trying to evade the mystery enemy. The comedy felt a tad forced as I would expect Chip, a robot who's been with Owen and the ship for a while I would guess, to know the buttons on the ship and what they do. Also, it would've been awesome to see some real flying skills from Owen during that escape, but he came off a little incapable. I know he isn't if he was a strider in the past. Besides that, this series has some real potential and I really hope we get to see another episode! I'm a big fan of your guys videos that have conversations in them. It adds so much, though I know it's more difficult to produce. I still miss Songs of War and am praying that gets to see the light of day again. Thank you to everyone on the team for making this video! From the voice actors, animators, and the story board creators, you are all amazing and should be very proud of this video! It is truly awesome to watch these and I loved every second.💗 Great job, Samuel Kyber, on writing and directing this!!

That was such a great and amazing animation Sam! The VFX was soo good, models and planets were astonishing and the end of the story was really quite unexpected and sad.

[Spoilers!] Kira’s betrayal was so unexpected. And her face at the end - Glad she did her duty, then feeling bad for Betraying Owen, and then pushing that thought aside for triumph once more.
