Looking at the two before the fight, I was not expecting what happened. The skill level of Zouak was off the charts. Super impressive skill set. She made those muscles irrelevant.
Exactly the same here. Looking at them, I was expecting a one-sided beat down by the one that's built like the incredible hulk. All those muscles and she got handled like that!!! Less time in the weight room and more time working on actual skills.
I expected her to win because she was so serious at the stand off. Too much muscle mass leads to shortened punches and stiffness.

I have noticed that women who maintain their femininity tend to hit harder and stronger. Muscles are excellent at protecting bones from fracture, but they make it difficult to use velocity to throw a good punch. When I was in high school, I fought a bodybuilder and punched him repeatedly without being hit.

Ojewole seems to be built for punching because she doesn't do much else, and that will put her at a disadvantage in the long run. Towards the end of the fight, I could see a scared woman shielding herself from the blows, gone was the masculine imagery paraded before.

Technical superiority says it all, Ojewole had no right to be Rizlen's opponent.....she needs more technical updates in her arsenal and loose some of them muscles , oti po ju (its too much) Mma requires stamina,efficient striking, flexibility and balance of grappling and wrestling. She knew what she was doing, she avoided multiple submission attempts, she gave a good effort, her conditioning was horrible is all, you can tell she tanked out.
They both looked about the same. One had better conditioning then the other.
For the layman observer: The other fighter had MUCH better Judo skills which stood out along with the jiu-jitsu skills that both fighters had decent skills for. The woman in the red looks to have a boxer background.

Also in comparison I have never seen anyone compare Holly Holm to a man when she has just as many muscles. Anyways congrats to Rizlen on the win. What a fight. Both excellent athletes. They both exhibited supurb fighting skills especially when it came to grappling. Zouak just happened to get the edge and was well deserved. That being said, I'd like to have muscles like Ojewole. There's no fat there. Just toned muscle.

It would seem Ojewole ran out of steam very quickly in the 2nd round. She looked extremely intimidating with those defined muscles and muscular jaw, but you need skill in MMA - and endurance. Nonetheless, I should probably put a proverbial sock in it, as I know I wouldn’t last a minute in the cage with either of these tough brave women. They’d be scrubbing my remains off the mat by the end of the first round. Well done to both fighters.
