Poor Knarfy not knowing that in these earlier versions of Minecraft, the ocean actually got larger and larger the further out you got...meaning there were stretches of up to 100k+ of nothing but ocean
Its actually possible. Just travel like 69 billion blocks away till you see the farlands. That'll give you a crispy fps of 6fps. Barely would take any effort.

@@dragonsaway9710 It's worse because the elytra never existed at the same time as the farlands (due to being like 15 major versions later or something like that). But in the same vein, adventure mode doesn't exist in any version with the farlands so that entire thing is avoided.
The farlands still exist it's just not the same, it is typically referred to as the stripedlands now

Breaking Minecraft Idea: manually delete files while playing the game, try deleting mods while the game is running aswell.
Can’t delete mods because it just doesn’t let you but not sure about files
@@BANMKE Windows Explorer sure doesn't let you, but Powershell or CMD will allow that. Linux is also an option, as that doesn't care at all about which files are in use and which aren't if deleted from the Terminal
I have an idea to break minecraft in adventure mode: Just find a snapshot that added an experimental feature that when interacted with just crashes the game
Do it in snapshot 24w09a , put enchanted book(curse of binding or vanishing) in both slot of a grindstone, it will cause a crash due to minecraft now handle item stack differently
About the ocean. Prior to release 1.7, Minecraft worlds were ocean dominated. Minecraft would generate continents within a world-spanning ocean with one always being placed at spawn. Since 1.7, worlds are largely land dominated. In other words, that ocean is actually infinite.
No its just extremly large and one near spawn going all the way to the farlands might be 1 in a trillion

He changed from adventure mode to adventure mode and cut it out for some reason he said he didn't fix it before he posted the video but honestly i don't care one way or the other given he was in adventure mode when he broke it, meaning everything else can be considered filler for enjoyment since he could have just went into creative, built a portal, and then tested the method in adventure and the video would have immediately ended where's the fun in that

Multimc is so useful, but there is a fork of it called Prism that allows you to directly download mods, resource packs, and modpacks from both curse forge and modrinth straight to the loader.

Spamming the screenshot key could possibly overload Minecraft. Possibly. But it's not really an adventure mode thing and you could argue it's similar to holding f3 c.
You know that you could've just found a shipwreck in 1.18 for example and open the chest with a treasure map, it would freeze the game. Way easier than doing whatever it is that you did.

I'm surprised for all the research that went into this video that Knarfy forgot or didn't find out that earlier versions of Minecraft's world gen were "continental". In other words, to feel more like Earth there would be mostly giant land masses and even bigger oceans between them dotted with small islands. We're genuinely talking thousands and thousands of blocks of oceans that are not realistically worth trying to cross, especially without TPing. It's like actually trying to sail across the pacific ocean irl

Snapshots for 1.4.2 existed, they are just not available anymore in the vanilla launcher. You can find them on the wiki though, you dont need the wayback machine for that

If you open the Minecraft jar file with something like WinRAR or 7zip and replace steve.png with your skin (assuming it's the right image size for the version you're using), you'll be able to have your skin in older versions and/or in offline mode.

Here's one that will crash your game: Apply every texture pack every created, if thats not enough then open a world with bed rock then a layer of armor stands, then make a bunch of command blocks that connately summons another armor stand, and another command block that summons every Minecraft item for every armor stand. If thats still not enough summon every mob in the game for every armor stand :)

there's maps made with adventure mode in mind, where the map creator lets you put certain blocks down for puzzles by allowing a certain block to be put on a certain other block, if you can put in the code to make a nether portal, i think you can do this without using the snapshot
