@@rima7286 Yeah man you're not wrong. The joke is that this fight was the springboard for me to watch near on the entire Mcgregor catalogue when he was actually in his prime and sustaining a ridiculous, one of a kind legacy and yet sadly this fight, really starting back with the Mayweather fight, was the drop in his career to where we are now. So in the long run it was an odd place to start properly tuning in to Mcgregor fights.

@@hjiuz6894 no he won’t. Conor did more damage from guard on his elbows than Dustin did the whole third fight. Mcgregor slipped and lost balanced was forced to clinch. It’s easy when you get it and lose your balance for you to look rocked. If he was rocked he wouldn’t have the stability he did to clinch and than pull guillotine. Dustin’s stated on multiple occasions Conor’s the hardest hitter he’s face. You’re also forgetting the rematch wasn’t so one sided. The final sequence was one sided. The sequence they’ve embedded into y’all’s brains but Dustin was getting torched the entire first round. Still dig out the win but let’s not act like mcgregor can’t do what he did the first time it’s just crap. We’ve seen in the olives fight Dustin still has that quitters mentality..he just got lucky he fought Conor coming off the couch fresh off drinking the hot kiss

Fight 1 - Poirier is 'I've never disliked anybody that I've fought that much in my entire life' mode, McGregor is 'business is never personal, I do not hate the man that shares the same dreams as me' mode. Fight 2 - Amicable, hot sauce sharing, proper 12 sharing competitors. Fight 3 - Poirier is finally learning 'straight business' mode and comes full circle on how McGregor was in fight 1, Conor is long gone straight to 'YA WOIFE IS IN ME DM'S' mode.

Did he really deserve to win? no Did he end up winning because his big toe caught a nerve ending? yes. this is trut
@Matt102642 жыл бұрын
@@Matt10264 in first round Conor got taken down, he wasn't controlling Dustin in the clinch when the clinch didn't even last that long. Dustin was attacking that lead of Conor from the start, that was his gameplan. It wasn't a lucky kick that hit Conors nerves, it was collective damage to his muscles which resulted in big lump that affected his movement. Different from Sean O'Malley situation. And yes Conor won the first round, but the second round Dustin finished Conor feet half-way through, so how was he winning the whole fight? It's not like Dustin finished Conor in 4th or 5th round after taking loads of damage but hey man, feel free to ignore all of the factual things I said and keep believing Conor was winning until he wasn't. As I saw it, Dustin had a clear gameplan from attacking his legs to slow his movements to securing a takedown and deplete his gas tank which he executed wonderfully and got the results.

Than Dustin and Conor exhanged GNP shoota, Conor landed elbows from his back and some good up kicks. And Dustin throwed some ground and pound too and that's it. I agree with you let me put out there though conor didn’t do as well as people think in this fight he saw Dustin as somebody who’s he easily knocked out and can easily put him out again so he used to the chance to show and introduce himself to a new technique in the fight which is what caused him the loss he didn’t defend himself enough he didn’t lead up his shots he practically became a shallow boxer he let his leg become vulnerable against another southpaw in the third fight I believe he did better! Yes many people may not agree and say he got demolished but I disagree in the first 2 minutes and a half conor was beating Dustin with the leg kicks and punches conor had a bad moment during the exchange where he panicked and went for a shoot but when he fell onto the ground and got ground pounded I believe he was still doing well he kept his composure he was getting hit a lot but he wasn’t tiring out he managed to attach his elbows and some kicks and held him back for enough time until the leg break. It could have gone either way but I believe he could have won or atleats had a better chance of winning that the 1st fight conor had better awareness better technique and led up his shots

He did deserve his title shot. Wtf are you talking about. It’s Conor that doesn’t deserve a title shot since he’s been trying to get a fight with Charles lol

It did make sense simply cuz Conor hasn't had a win at LW since 2016. Khabib wasn't giving him a instant rematch and Porier at the time was ranked number 2. So if Conor beat him he would have gotten a shot at a title vs Charles. Cuz Chandler at this moment wasnt ranked yet I think. Geathje was inactive cuz he got choked a month or 2 before this fight. So Porier made alot of sense cuz this was supposed to be easy cuz Conor beat him so easily the first time.

Anyone else realise right now is the new golden era of the UFC and we’re here to experience in real time? amazing
This ain’t a golden era lmao just a bunch of juiced up mutants abusing PED even more
I think we just passed the golden era. Conor making history, Khabib, Tony, GSP’s comeback, Garbrandt toppling Cruz in extraordinary fashion, the heavyweight trilogy between DC and Stipe, aka the greatest heavyweight of all time, Jones was still competing, etc.

Fight 1 - Poirier is 'I've never disliked anybody that I've fought that much in my entire life' mode, McGregor is 'business is never personal, I do not hate the man that shares the same dreams as me' mode. Fight 3 - Poirier is finally learning 'straight business' mode and comes full circle on how McGregor was in fight 1, Conor is long gone straight to 'YA WOIFE IS IN ME DM'S' mode.
i wish conor didn't try to force his trash talk persona all the time and was always like this. he's a smart guy when hes not in that mode
Yes but he makes far more ppvs and attention being the bad guy

Larone not missing it . Been thinking about this Fight since yesterday and here it is great work Larone . 🤙
Idc what nobody tells me, Conor was winning that fight till he was caught against the fence on the second. The pressure and his clinch game were outstanding, Dustin knew how to fight under pressure better than Conor
He won the first round 10-9 and lost in second round via TKO, so yeah he was winning the 1/5 of the fight
@@utkarshsarkar839 No he was winning the whole fight easily bar calf kicks. calf kicks on funny bone deaded his leg and he lost. but he was lumping dusty around, 17:34, and 17:41 had dustin doing the sloppy Boogie dance lol.
@@Matt10264 how can you say someone was winning whole fight if the fight ended in second round. First round Conor out struck Dustin, second round Dustin out struck Conor and knocked him out. If u judge whole fight on first round basis, Petr Yan is losing every fight then
@@utkarshsarkar839 conor was winning whole fight until the last calf kick when his leg got funny boned, he got knocked down because he could not stand and then the last shot dazed him and he lost. Dustin basically got embarassed in there in every way, even outclassed in the clinch! took a lot of nasty shots and was wobbling around the octagon, but the calf kick is like a joker card, you can hit someones nerve and then they lose. just like omalley vs chito vera, is chito vera a better fighter? no. Did he really deserve to win? no Did he end up winning because his big toe caught a nerve ending? yes. this is trut
Dude.. Your videos are so well made
This was awesome. I was nervous for Dustin & really wanted to see him redeem that first loss to Conor. He did it and twas epic.
I remember when literally everyone thought conor would win this one and they counted dustin out like crazy
Doctor stoppage ...your wife's in my dms
Bro I remember telling my friends, don’t count Dustin out!
I think everyone underestimated Dustin’s chin more than anything. Even though Conor was clearly landing more at parts, Dustin was taking the shots seemingly without issue!
I always go back and watch this fight, everybody saying Conor is washed, his chin is glass, his cardio is weak etc. Conor was slipping Dustin’s punches, he was no where near tired, standing in between rounds, he ate shots from Dustin and was still standing, his leg just gave out on him from those calf kicks, I’m looking forward to his return!!!

Dustin was winning the third before the break
Without a doubt
Yeah he was winning 1 round.
What? This is a completely different fight 😂😂 you realize his break happened in the trilogy..
I mean that was 5 minutes from 25, and he did not even won all 5 minutes. What's the point of that? Chandler won the first round against Olivera and got KOd. Dzsinn won the first round against Olivera and got dominated for the rest od the fight. Conor landed a lot of. Good kicks on the feety attemtped a sub, did not get it. Than Dustin and Conor exhanged GNP shoota, Conor landed elbows from his back and some good up kicks. And Dustin throwed some ground and pound too and that's it. We can't say "this guy would won" based on 5 competitive minutes

Conor is the game changer forever. There is never gonna be icon like this
That’ll change soon, the sport is still relatively young. We only say Connor is a game changer because he does PPV numbers. They’ll be another brash loud mouth who can actually fight and Connor Mcgregor will be forgotten UNLESS he can show he’s still hungry.
@@LaChrisNola Conor is something special, he changed the sport forever. How many ppv there are with no titles on the line where conor is not headlining? None
@@LaChrisNola think you're forgetting about Conors prime buddy, he can defo fight. Imagine people judged Silva purely off the latter end of his career
@@TaiLung145 That’s what I’m saying. You’re saying he changed the sport bc of the PPV. But people forget who promotes these fighters. If anybody should have the title of changing the mma landscape it’s Dana White.
@@LaChrisNola conor will never be forgotten. People even try to copy him, at least somewhat his persona. Btw conor won lw and fw belt. Even tho he had losses coming to the end of his career, not every ufc fighter is gonna be undefeated neither the goat, but what will be remembered is their legacy they left. Examples anderson silva, nick diaz, tony fergeuson and conor who has the biggest brand name of them all... not the best fighter of them all but brand name.
And they both lived happy ever after
The pace Connor was setting seemed to be like he was sparring. He had no urgency or killer instinct, I feel like he wanted to take his time to get rid of ring rust, but Dustin grew in confidence every minute and Connor badly underestimated him, and it cost him. Which is probs why Connor was so angry in the 3rd fight.
Dustin singing along to James Brown is hilarious 😂 😆

Conor is clearly checked out in this fight, his kids were clearly on his mind
man the start of this video gave me chiils, connors thing when he gets his arms out is so iconic
This Conor was doing much better and more focused than in the third fight But the thing is, he was left behind revolution of MMA
Completely agree, everyone falsely believes this performance was terrible, he just had NO urgency at all. Dustin said he was stunned several times and Conor should have followed up.

DC calling Conor Jr a big girl and then realising what he said 11:30
What IF--Conor never gave poirer the rematch. He bullied him in the first. Really didn’t make sense for Conor to give him the 2 But he got humbled . Because he thought he was going to walk through. But poirer beating mcreggor gave him another title even doe he really didn’t deserve it cuz he got embarrassed by KHABIB and the same thing happened with Olivera
